Although Norev is pretty good but I'd go for the Solido - it's cheaper and some details are looking better on that one - the lamps look definately better on the Solido. There's also a facelifted version of the first Twingo by Norev.
I previously assumed Norev's rendition is better, but... I'm not so sure anymore. It's a very mixed bag. Norev looks half a size bigger, I'm curious which one is more to scale. Solido's got the rear wrong, it is too squashed, but their front end looks better. They replicated the sill between the blinkers and headlamps. Solido's hood vents look more approprioately sized and better defined. Norev for some reason decided to modernise the wiper blades to some Aerotwin flavor and put the same side mirror housings on all their models (Solido has the correct ones for 1993). Solido's interior looks impressive and again more in line with the 1993 model, it's interesting how much further away from the windscreen the vents are. the seats are a bit of a letdown though, super glossy and plastickey. Solido's wheel caps are true to scale, but don't cover the whole wheel for some reason. Overall, Solido's model looks like a more accurate rendition of the debut version. Norev offers different year models in its lineup, so I guess they've decided to make shortcuts here in 199and there, making their model more like an imposter of 1993 in 1995's (or later) body. If you want the absolute original Twingo, I'd go for Solido. If you like the later ones more, I'd go for Norev as Solido is just not making them.
I like the Norev better than the Solido or Anson. I have some Solido models but theres always something wrong with the door mechanism always 1 door that doesn't quite close
this model is very ugly, without opening the front and rear hood, not that of engine details, money thrown bad solid 40.00 euros. Much better Welly, Motormax, Maisto
