I know how much work you had. I used to do Farmer's Market every Saturday 6 AM til Noon. If it was a great sales day, I had a week to replace all that was sold. If not, it was a fun day visiting sellers and buyers both made for a good day, $$ or chatting. I also too an air pot filled with hot water and packets of hot chocolate mix on those blustery days. That was nice for me, a welcome into my shoppe. I served tea in by Aromatherapy Shoppe so folks kind of expected I would have a beverage for sale (some markets don't allow that). In the hole in the wall store, there was no charge. I had an Angel Fountain and Wicker chairs near by so often I could sit and chat about oils, soaps, and how it could help. Most of FM business was knit and crochet hats, shawls, mitts and fun things as well as hand crafted soaps. I loved it! Bet you can tell. I hope that I'll be able to do a little of that again..❤❤ I had to support my habit, all that artsy fartsy stuff I loved making. 💜❤️💜
Thanks for sharing your market experience. You made some really nice things. It sounds to me like you are one year ahead of everyone else if last year's ornaments sold this year! ;) When my quilting group used to sell once or twice a year at our local farmers market, we had some regulars that knew we'd be there, but I think everyone else was just there for their weekly food purchases.
You have such cool stuff and a really good mix of different items too. Love those angel spool ornaments! I can’t believe those didn’t sell better! I used to make jewelry and did several craft fairs a year at one time. It’s exhausting work! I never made much money, but my favorite part was definitely talking to people who stopped by. I usually did the “L” setup with my tables, depending on the event, and that usually worked out well to encourage flow through the space. Thanks for showing us your stuff!
You are so darn creative and talented! Sorry it didn’t yield more reward. Perhaps your area demographics hinder the success? Keep crafting as it makes you happy 😊😘

I loved all of your items! As you were talking, I thought that if you were a vendor at a cross stitch retreat, you would sell out!
Never disappointed just different.
