Borel Fire raises air quality concerns

As the Borel Fire continues to burn, filling the Kern River Valley with smoke it's also raising concerns about the air quality.

Was there this last week and the fire just got started. As we were leaving they started evacuating bodfish. Hope the best for everyone there!

I opened the windows a few nights ago because it’s finally starting to cool down. A few hours later, I woke up to a VERY strong smell of smoke in the house. Guess no open windows for a while and my house has been continually closed up probably since the heat wave because it stays hot at night 🌞🔥 Dreading the PG&E bill.
