I was ten years old when I first played this game in 1996. If someone would have told me back then that this game would peak in 2020 I would have thought they were on drugs.
It peaked when it came out, the speedrunning community is so small compared to the active playerbase back then, everyone was playing it

I swear to God. This is like watching deleted scenes from Final Destination SM 64. Each clip, you're scanning the environment for what's gonna go wrong/get them killed. It's actually pretty great.

The highlights are so well done. I just wish we have the raw clips rather than using meme edits, but they are still funny on their own right. XD
Yeah I gotta agree with you there. Some of the edits do add humor to it, and could’ve worked better if used less frequently, but the majority of the time it’s just distracting and other times annoying in my opinion. When you put an edit in near every single clip, it takes away from the ones that are actually funny. And at times when the streamer doesn’t have a camera, I can’t even tell if they’re reacting or if he edited some meme in there. Still a great video that I have no doubt the uploader worked hard on, but I do wish we had just the raw footage and not the constant sound effects.

As someone who got this game on release, and NOW I struggle going back to play it (I was amazing at it as a fkng child though, of course. But now i struggle 😅) what amazes me about speed runners the most, is not always the crazy moves they pull off, because they practice them over and over. But rather the BACKUP strats because y’all have to practice a million different ways you could fail, and still recover 🤣 like that’s insane to me. A lot of people don’t take that into consideration.
