What if I’m selling an item that has multiple color options? If they don’t want a collage as the first listing pic, should I not use a photo of my items (sticker sheets) fanned out or stacked in a staggered manner to show that there are about 10 color variations? If I don’t use that as my first pic, what is the best way to indicates that there are multiple colors to pick from within that listing?
Choose the best selling color and use a graphic or icon text overlay that says 10 color options in the corner or something along the lines of that to signify that you have have more variations.
I have collage images for almost all of my listings. Each one was flagged as needing improving. Since this has happened my sales my plummeted. I would get 1-3 sales a day and for the past week I've gotten only about 2 sales for the whole week. Do you believe they are hiding or putting listings that have been flagged as needing improvement in the bottom of the search results? I really don't want to change my collage images as my main image but my gut feeling is telling me they are hiding my listings.
Interesting. Myself and other coaches I have talked to assumed this was a "suggestion" but since your sales have decreased I would like to look into it can you email me you shop at support@bykristinanicole.com THANKS!
@@abendeavours4200 the biggest thing you want to do is make sure that first image accurately displays exactly what they are going to recieve. don't use that first thumbnail to show variations. I hope this helps. "Collage" can mean a lot, so it just depends on what is in that photo.
Do you feel that the post graphics are suitable for jewelry makers? Any that I've seen on Etsy haven't used the graphics. Is this something that should be incorporated?
Photographics are suitable for ALL products! I am the only one (that I am aware of) that teaches photographics so that is probably why you aren’t seeing people use them. You are in the know! 😘 Infographics (as most refer to them) increase understanding and engagement. I only recommend them on Etsy because you don’t have control of your listing layout and the description is hard to locate. Don’t use them on your website. Photographics have to be catered to your product and the variations you offer. But some generic ideas for jewelry are Sizing graphic Variations graphic Care instructions graphics Upsell graphic (if you have pieces that compliment each other) Email list graphic Review graphic Packaging graphics (or gift wrapping graphic) How to order (if it requires a lot of steps) or shipping graphic Photographics are meant to share details about your product or service and answer any questions the shopper may have! Are you uploading via the app? I have had some reports from students this week that when they try to upload via the app they are being told their images are low resolution when they are not. The solution has been to upload via the browser. It appears to be an app glitch. I hope this helps.
I sell phone covers and Etsy has picked up that I have collages on 2 of my listings but they aren’t collages it’s just the design of the phone cover. How would I even begin to fix that 😂
Thanks for the video!
You’re welcome, love!
very informative. TY
You are very welcome!
In selling a tshirt, how many pics of the same shirt can you really take? It’s hard to put a shirt 5 different ways in photos.

Hey, this happened to me as well. Just wondering what you ended up doing?

Thank you 😊. My shipping is under $5. Will I be impacted if a customer orders multiple items that bring up the cost of shipping?
Hello! I would say no because this is specific to a listings visibility. Not the shop. Does that make sense!?

Ok but why is it I upload high quality photos and it still says they’re low resolution no matter what

Focus on one side for the thumbnail. Is it a front and back image that is collaged?
