I would bring in the borders, into the lawn, from each edge. Route a path around where the lawn is and fill with more plants, make it like a jungle walk through. Like SpringySteves garden in Abingdon. This will make your garden feel much bigger too!

So beautiful, I miss being able to grow palms in my garden. I'm originally from Ireland now living in Canada. Winters are brutally cold, so a lot if perennials from home don't survive here.

I wish I had your talent on decoration and art I think you should start selling your tiki - tropical wooden signs because they are amazing and I cant find such high quality ornaments for my mini (balcony) tropical garden. I would also wanted to tell you that in my parents house we have two sago palms (20 & 10 years old) and they are probably the hardiest plants Ive ever had they stand the summer heat in greece and the mild but frost winters with no protection (my mon never fertilizes them either!!). Love your content 🤩 and your style! Most of all, your plants, inside and out are gorgeous! Was that a Fatsia Japonica Variegata, on the left of your garden(11 - 11:10 min into the video) ?? Ever had it inside? I do but having trouble with the variegation, it receives good light I think, it's under a growlight (ca 2400L)but the new leaves are almost all green, can see thin white edges but nothing like when I bought it. Do you if it's like a "Polaroid" typ of situation/variegation?? Would love some tips if you can 😊🙏🏼

Yes I was thinking of composting it, although because it’s such an invasive species I wouldn’t be surprised if it started growing again in the compost bin 😆
With regards to the gunnera. Just give it away. Who's going to complain? Or if you want to just bin it, throw it in your garden waste bin. The garden waste gets put through an incinerator to get rid of potentially harmful/invasive plants added anyway. Don't make it difficult for yourself as it takes the fun out of doing this type of gardening. Plus, there are dozens on gumtree right now anyway. 🤷🏻♂️
I know it’s a bit crazy I can’t give it away, I don’t see the difference with it being in my garden or someone else’s. I think I’ll end up composting it 🌿

Just bought a canopy for our garden that attaches onto the house absolutely love it it's great it's there when you need it and away onto the house when you don't highly recommend one.

Yes although I’d prefer to use a grass alternative like moss etc. I’m looking into different options at the moment 🌿
