The Dangers of Coveting (Judges 18)

As we continue to get closer to the end of Judges, we see the dangers of coveting here in chapter 18. Dan begins by coveting the amount of land the other tribes have, but that leads to bribery, idolatry, disobedience and murder. It is an absolute dark chapter in Israel's history, but it goes to show what we as human beings would do if God let us alone to our own devices. Tomorrow, we will look at Judges 19, which continues to spiral downward.
