I have a few NSR and my favourite is the cute little Abarth 500. Not the fastest NSR, but fun.
I have several NSR C6R & C7R Corvettes as well as one Porsche 911, and they are excellent cars. They are a bit pricey compared to Scalextric and Carrera, but these are top quality race ready cars. Well worth the price. I will definitely get more in the future.

Top review Travis,i have the NSR Porsche 908/3,more fun than a week at Tokyo Disneyland! A very punchy little slot car,easy to drive and quick.A little bit of lead behind the guide and clean sticky tyres will keep the lap times falling.With the variety of motors,pods,and chassis combinations available,anyone can set up a winning car.A top brand in our hobby/pastime.

You cannot go wrong with NSR
This is a great car. Low center of gravity and wide. This is the fastest car I have in my collection. A car to set track reccords with. Should be a must have for any slot car racer. Fun to drive.

Thanks Travis. I have a pair of NSR Moslers. They have been around a good while now in different liveries. They've played a core role in building the NSR brand and, yes, we've just got to love 'em. Mine are anglewinder config like yours. I do have a red plastic shell and I'm planning of building that into a 25k EVO5 sidewinder to see if that improves? Otherwise, it is down to you for not getting sub 8.00 sec OOB - lol
Just bought one from LEB hobbies. Haven’t got it yet! Can’t wait!

You are costing me a fortune ! I keep buying cars you recommend , trouble is you like nearly every car that you have on test !
I normally review cars I like 😂 and if I'm being honest I find it hard to dislike any slot car as the quality these days are pretty good

I just got a 2nd NSR mosler to run against my first. The ride hight is very low, basically no air between car and track. The sticker on the bottom of the engine came off which show the car hit the track. The new car does not run as well as the first. If you are aware of similar problems I suggest you make a video re how to increase ride hight, i just need 1mm. I googled and could not find any articles re increasing ride hight. My only ide is to take the magnet out.
Unfortunately I don't have the car withe in Austria but have a look and see if it has grub screws from and rear on the axles
NSR are great I have a few now but maybe try a Thunderslot they are great to

Great review. How do you know which one to choose , an angle winder or inline or side winder?
It really comes down to testing, track layout and drive style but I recommend by the car you like (Porsche, Audi etc) and if the motor setup is not too your liking then I you can purchase a drop in replacement
Why use magnets? They just reduce speed. We never use magnets on Polly Raceway. I think I have around 100 cars from NSR now. They sponsor Swedish Championship on my track. Italians never race with magnets 😀
I test the cars as they are released giving the potential buyer an insight on what they may expect
