One of my fav scenes is actually in the end credits with RZA and Christopher Lloyd riding in the van full of weapons laughing about why they couldn't take a plane.
Bro I've been telling you for the longest to watch this! This movie saved Bob Odenkirk's (or as you call him Saul) life! He had a heart attack while filming season 6 of Better Call Saul, and when he got the role for Nobody, he went under training and saved his health! Your reaction did not disappoint! Told you this movie was fire!!!
y me too , been telling everyone , check " just trust ash" he dropped a great reaction to this recently , and his girl " this movie has my brain cells dancing"
We need a movie where Hutch and John Wick bump into each other in a bar or club. Hutch: I thought you were out. John: Heard the same about you. Hutch: Well… shit happens. John: …yeah.
Apparently (from what I've read), the tattoo on his wrist is supposed to be the hardest hand in Texas Hold 'Em (I think) that a player can come back from; if someone has the tattoo, they can make it through the toughest of situations and you'd best not mess with them. Love your reactions, Leo!
The use of Pat Benatar's Heartbreaker in a car chase/mass murder scene was genius. The other set pieces in this movie were awesome as well, but the car chase stood out to me for that one reason. Wicked.
This movie came out at a bad time, and had hardly ANY advertising that I saw. I watched it solo just because I saw RZA and the Better Call Saul guy.....MAN I LOVED IT!! Ended up seeing it three more times in theater with different people!! All I am saying is I want my John Wick, Equalizer, and Nobody trifecta collaboration!!!
RZA is surprisingly well versed in action martial arts movies. Either him or one of his Wu-Tang co-conspirators made their directorial debut with Man With The Iron Fists. It was apparently a hell of a ride.
@@blazcraz6992 it's certainly entertaining. He was in a movie with Paul Walker also, remake of a French parkour / action movie, can't recall the name though. Brick Mansions maybe? Something like that.
The coolest thing about this movie, is that it probably saved the Main Character's Actor's Life. The guy had a small heart attack some time after making this movie, and he survived because his heart was strong enough, because of how in-shape he got into for this movie.
While I was an instant fan at release (the packed theater went bonkers), the more times I watch this movie, especially with reaction channels, the more I realize what an outstanding film it is on all levels.
16:18 cemented this as one of my all-time favorite action movies. You've got to respect a guy that can kill you and then save your life. Mercy is the mark of a great man.
The 2 and 7 off suite poker hand is the worse you can be dealt. It is the last thing you want to see, and for people who cross a person wearing such a tattoo, the last thing they WILL see.
I met Christopher Lloyd 25 years ago in Devonport, Tasmania, while he was on holidays. He signed a couple of autographs for me, bought me a beer and had a good chat with a dumb 18 year old Aussie guy! F*cking LEGEND!!!!!!!🥰🥰🥰👍👍👍
This was the first movie in a long time that I had an absolute blast watching! It was so much fun! No sooner did the end credits roll, I was gearing up to watch it again! I'm really looking forward to Nobody Part 2.
This movie is sooo good! I had seen a trailer of this movie quite some time ago but I totally forgot about it because I had not really seen any promotion other than that one trailer. So when I decided to watch it not that long ago when I saw someone upload a reaction it really surprised me. And there aren’t many recent movies that positively surprised me like this one so that is really refreshing lol I think not putting any music in the beginning of the bus fight scene made feel way more real and tense, I loved it!
For those who don’t know, the reason the vet panicked after seeing the wrist tattoo, was the tattoo was 2 cards, one being a 2, the other being a 7. If you were playing Texas hold ‘em, a 2 and 7 were the worst cards to have and was really rare to win with that hand. Now military wise, if a vet had that tattoo, it means they were sent on a suicide mission and were not expected to come back, but they do anyway, hence he won the game with 2 and 7 figuratively speaking. And in order to survive a suicide mission, you gotta be one bad motherfucker, and that’s why the vet panicked.
There have been many times I have folded 7-2 off, and the flop comes down seven-seven-deuce. It's like holding pocket aces, and the guy next to you wins with an 8-high flush. Luck of the draw ..
Glad you finished Breaking Bad and El Camino. You should do Better Call Saul too. One of the few spin offs that in my opinion is just as good as the original. Some even say it's better, but i wouldn't go that far.
The opening scenes of Hutch in his morning routine are so relatable. Just the sheer mudanity of it all. And the insanity that living the same way does to a dude. In many ways, Hutch is the opposite of John Wick. Character-wise. He's a guy who got out of the game and is just itching to go back in for the adrenaline rush. I could see him go full Dexter after a couple more years. Just looking for targets to settle his sadistic tendencies. Where as John was forcibly pushed back into the life he had left. In his mind, he had no choice. For John, it was personal. For Hutch, it was for his own enjoyment of the situation.
Bob actually had a home invasion and trapped them in his basement. His experience with the justice system gave him the spark to write this movie. He thought if I was one tough SOB what would I have done to the them.
Except it was written by Derek Kolstad who also wrote JW1, 2 & 3. Please source your home invasion theory cause I cant find anything backing that up. Only that Bob called Derek
And Hutch's tattoos. They never explain it to us. But a common interpretation is it is a hand in Texas Hold'Em, those two numbers are among the absolute worst to get. You fold when you have the chance. Diamond means money and a Spade can mean Death. In short, you see him it means "You Will Die. Money Was Involved. Run".

I LOVE Nobody so much! That realistic bus scene...EXCELLENT!! When he got back on the bus I thought of Della Reese fighting Eddie Murphy in Harlem Nights, saying "Oh now that's what I'm talking 'bout, let's get it on!" So Good! 😂

If you like that style of hero: The Killer (1989) the John Woo movie not the new one, Léon: The Professional (1994) PS. The whole "black russian" joke is silly, because there are quite a lot of blacks who are 2nd and 3rd generation Russians. During communism a lot of african students came to Russia to study and stuff happens, kids get born. It's like saying "I never met a japanese american".
Some key moments were .... glossed over. There is a knife fighting expert who loves the scene where Hutch takes the knife out of his side, lunges at the famous stuntman playing a drunk thug on the bus. The thug, resorting to a cliche, catches the wrists of Hutch to stop the knife. Hutch simply turns the knife up and cuts into the thug's arm. You never see the simple and expected move in movie knife fights. Nobody got it right. Look for it in other reactions if you don't bother watching this worthy film. Seeing Doc come out with shotguns was also .... notable, fun, and satisfying.
Nobody is such an underrated movie. It’s like John Wick, but less violent. Always nice to see Bob Odenkirk kick some butt.
