Looks like the top speed is 135 km/hr. Sounds about right for a 313cc single. Not so exciting though with the Versys 300's parallel twin exceeding 160 km/hr.

I can imagine. To me, 120 it's ok to hit the road... Any way, it is a very good motorcycle.

terrywho22 it's made for 3rd world countries, where we don't have road infrastructure to even handle 150kmph. So 135kmph is great deal
Maybe, but if the Versys looks to be a more capable bike in general, why pay more for the BMW?
terrywho22 here in India, the versys 300 costs 1500dollars more than the g310gs. As Gs is manufactured here, it's kinda cheap
Dude apache RR310 shares the exact same engine with no modifications but it goes as fast as 165kmh.

It is a top bike to begin with, so dont brag about it. It's also not just cheap plastic but rather a fun to ride and lightweight bike.
I've never had so much fun with my Transalp's and Vstrom's 650 than with this gs310 ,it goes everywhere and is extraordinarily comfortable
