In this video i unbox and install the (Fenrir Bar End Motorcycle Mirrors) that i purchased from amazon after doing some research on the Segway Ninebot GT1. i hope you guys all enjoy the video and as always if yo guys or gals have any questions about the installation please feel free to comment and ill answer you back.

Great video. I just added them to my gt2. And that bolt trick to hold the nut inside the grip was epic. It took me 5 mins to do the entire install.

I definitely will. Im working on a range test video in Eco mode for the whole test, but im trying to get this Insta360 Ace Pro camera to not look washed out from the image and also not flicker the Speedometer of the GT1. 😅 Action Cam Issues.....

Thank you so much. I have a link in the description for everything i have installed on my GT1 so far. I too have been having a hard time trying to find a rack for it so i just bought a zipper pouch so i can at least put the Allen keys in it to adjust the mirrors if needed. With a little slim master lock since the zipper holes are on the small side.
@@THEAVERAGEGUY1983 thanks. How often do you have to adjust those mirrors? It would be tiresome to have to adjust them every hour or 10minutes with the Allen's.
@likewater1429 oh i only adjusted them once. They have been very good at not moving even though ive gone through very poor roads where everything is bumpy. Im surprised my aelf at how well they stay put.

Hi Stephen, i like it a lot. Its very stable and the brakes are Excellent. However i do recommend two chargers. At first i though 1 charger was fine but then i seen that if the battery was at 10% charging to 100% it would take 10 hours to charge. With a second charger which i had to purchase separately, it now chargers at about 5 hours or less which is way more reasonable if i use it daily.

@erenyedikardes3435 hi, i used this large mount from Ram Mounts without the insert and longer screws and then tightened it as tight as possible.

I then went with Quadlock for my mount as the cellphone holder i previously had which is in this video broke on me using a samsung Galaxy note 20 Ultra.

I then used this 1 inch ball mount clamp to put both parts together on the handlebar for mounting the Quadlock.

The original phone mount i had on does have its own 1 inch ball mount clamp which is also theft proof.

At the moment no because the handlebar and kickstand are broken so i have to wait for segway to eventually have parts so i can fix it but it does run 100% 😎👍

Do you have to change the throttle to use that phone mount?
Not at all. It was a simple bolt on. I just had to use the orage color rubber strap that is included in the thumb throttle kit to be able to install it without it being too tight so the twist throttle can still move freely. I do, however, recommend that you disable the motor when the brakes are pressed down. I had a small little incident where i got my glove stuck on the twist throttle while holding on to the brake, and the scooter tried taking off on me. I did drop it on the curb and damaged my kickstand. Thankfully, i was able to replace the kickstand, but that was close. 😅
@@THEAVERAGEGUY1983 thanks for responding. It seems like you are saying though that I need a piece from the thumb throttle (orange rubber strap) to successfully install the phone mount. Is that so? I do not want the thumb throttle kit. Just the phone mount.
@likewater1429 oh........ i thought you wanted the thumb throttle lol. I apologize yeah for the phone mount i would recommend this RAM mount bracket with longer screws, you can use the same locking nuts that are included in the kit. However i did upgrade to A Quadlock mount that i simply attached to the RAM mounts ball joint mount because my phone was too big and broke the phone mount i had on the video.

Here is the Quadlock one i used. I just simply removed the original phone mount i had but left the ball joint bracket from it for the Quadlock mount but upgraded my phone case to the Quadlock case for my NOTE 20 Ultra.

FYI I have a Galaxy s23 ultra. Segway GT1.
Bullet points or grocery list format works best for me, hahaha.
- I'd like your current set up.
- I plan on getting the mirrors.
- Ram mount bracket
- Longer screws for Ram mount bracket
- Get 1032 by 3inches screws? Or a 1032 by 2 and a half inches screws?
- Get a 1032 washer
- Get Quad lock phone mount for my S23 Ultra
- do I get the short arm or medium arm socket
- does the Allen wrenches needed come included or you had to use the ones you posted a link of
- where is this vibration dampener they speak of that is optional. I do not see it.
@likewater1429 not a problem, you are correct, i would use the 2 1/2" 10-32 screws for the Large RAM Mount with the ball joint on it. As for the Quadlock case you can use for your phone, I'll put the link here for you.

5. Vibration damper for the quadlock mount should you want to get one to prevent the phone camera damaging from the phone shacking too much from Vibration while riding.
