Crafty tip: when you want to paint all your beads, put them on wooden skewers and poke the tips of the skewers into the inside of a shoebox (so it looks like a foosball table LOL).and then you can spray the beads inside the box while you rotate them with the skewers that are sticking out of the box! The beads never touch the bottom of the box!
Nice work ,but I want to know, why do you make beads and keep as a decoration peace, because in India we use beads to make necklaces, earings and sometimes in designing ladies suits
Hi Jenna, a couple of clay tips, take 8 or so toothpicks together, wrap a piece of tape nice and tight around it. Use ur toothpick “tool” to poke or jab the seams together or anywhere you want to join a seam. Smooth the toothpick marks with water after. Also, instead of triple thick spray on the napkin rings, give modge podge hard as nails a try. It makes a beautiful “ceramic finish” that is more moisture proof then the spray. I love all your Crafts! The beads are FANTASTIC!!
You did a great job! I'm in the process. That sponge (from my art store) added black, brown, gold and antique white. Dried, and now to string together tomorrow and Will add tassels. Boda boom bada bing! 😉😘
You ROCK girl!!! LOVE your personality as well. Don’t edit out the silly puns and jokes!! It makes folks see who you are!!! Love people who aren’t fake!! Love these diys!
Heather Reddish AWE you are so sweet! I’m glad someone appreciates the puns LOL! Thanks SO much for the kind and encouraging feedback! It means a lot. So glad you are liking the vids 🥰💕
They make rolling pins with adjustable width bands to make evenly sized dough or clay! I’m excited to try these ideas! I love home decor and crafting! 💕🦋🥰
I love it all the hauls the diy the day in the life 😂. Watching you is so soothing for me I just play your videos while I’m cleaning and it calms me and helps the time pass quickly
I made the pottery barn beads and let me tell you, the tassels are def worth the hassle, they just give them this lush look and takes it from looking like a diy to something special. Thank you for the inspiration.
Love the clay bead look... your sponge paint techniques are on point... soft dabbing is crucial and the layering of paint! Love it and thank you... Keep it going!!
I just found your channel. I have Das air dry clay...I went straight home and made those large beads...gonna do it! I'm going to drape them over some old books painted jet black. Stunning!!
re: acrylic brush strokes, you can actually sand that down. you can also paint-then sand-then paint-then sand. until you have the right thickness or opacity of the paint you want, whilst maintaining the perfect texture.
Jenna I love the last DIY with the beads. I’ve seen them done with dollar trees ping-pong balls and I was going to make one but the dollar tree right now has no ping-pong balls for the next 30 days so I’m definitely gonna be using the air clay method thank you for sharing
The Waverly chalk paint in Mineral really is the end all be all paint!! I have had the same bottle forever! I really have used it for so many projects. It pairs perfectly with the Elephant color. Anytime I want a ceramic, pottery, or concrete look I grab for my Waverly paint! New here and I'm staying! Probably going to binge watch a few of your vids. 🤦♀️😂🤣
You did this video a year ago but I feel so blessed with your great tutorials I love the beads garland so gorgeous God bless you and thank you for sharing 🤗
Have worked with polymer clay for years and never thought to try the air dry stuff. This is great! I can put my oven away for a while. I assume that as long as you keep the clay properly wrapped and stored it will last indefinitely? Thanks for the video - it was a great intro to the air dry clay!
Absolutely love this video, I have to try the aged rope beads, I love the one you completed. Everyone has the wood beads I love the stone look! Great diy!
Your design looks so much better than the stores. I would purchase yours over the stores! I liked it and I am going to give it a go! Great Job Jenna! Love your DIY's Keep Showing Us More Ideas!
The beads look great, I am inspired to try. I unfortunately had to listen with no sound. The word "like" used a million times in a sentence, sets off my OCD. lol. (strange but true) Reminds me of Moon Zappa.
You're so crafty! I've watched two of your videos and I'm really impressed at how well you can match up your inspiration pieces. I'm going to have give some of these techniques a try. I especially like your beads. Well done!
