  • Like many hawker dishes in Singapore, Kway Chap is of Teochew Chinese Origin. Kway refers to the thick, broad sheets of rice noodles, which come served in a bowl with the offal, while Chap means soup or gravy.

    The kway chap the standard dropped about 20% compared 3years ago. I used to eat every Saturday when doing marketing there before covid price very reasonable compared to other stalls like bedok reservoir (nothing special)

    The price have gone up quite drastically. It taste have actually gone done. Still the same guys doing it. But it got quite different.

      maybe because of covid19 frequent lockdowns, their master stock used to braise go haywire.

    Price goes up while quality goes down. Typical Singapore hawkers? Last Visited Singapore in 2020. Ate kuey chap somewhere in Houggang - the seller was rude and arrogant.

    This kway chap stall is the cheaper and affordable version.
    The one that is better tasting is the other stall in the same food centre.
    Plus wooden chopsticks is kind of a turn off because of how difficult it is to clean properly.

    judging from the food at the stall - you are probably there around 8 am plus - this stall sells out fast and they closed early

    正确古早味是用大量的鸡骨猪大骨煮成上汤,那才是真正的味道,不是下大量的味精。

      你吃过? 一向来都有一些邻国的朋友们在没吃过任何新加坡美食之前就给于恶评,一厢情愿的认为自己的国家的食物才是最美味的。还好,世界上还有很多其他国家的人会欣赏新加坡的美食,毕竟没有一个人的口味是完全一样的。
