The thing I like about this animation is how dynamic the camera is. The way the camera can move through the space and really sell the motions of the frenetically moving characters is excellent. I think it comes down to how smoothly the backgrounds move it makes everything so good.

I think he sometimes does rough and others one the first go. He has been experimenting with exaggeration for a long time and it shows. I think now he is experimenting with perspective. What I admire is actually his dedication to sit down and actually animate the whole thing. Usually the more you work on a personal project the harder it becomes.

There are some youtubers where they'd be lucky if 10% of their subscribers watched their videos. Aimkid on the other hand has subscribers that watch their videos on repeat solely cause the content is that golden.

i really love how much this animation fits the theme of the song. most lemon demon songs take a real issue and exaggerate it and warp it to a comical and/or logical extreme. this animation pairs so well with this song because much like soft fuzzy man intends to, it portrays a very serious issue in a light-hearted and interesting way without losing the main message it's trying to give.

i think my favorite thing about this animation is the ghost has a method to its madness. at first, it seems completly chaotic and random, but you can almost follow its path and movements with a distorted flow through the vid. not sure if its intentional, but its neat.
OKAY LISTEN TO THIS I just figured this out, but here’s something kinda cool. So you know how Neil (Lemon Demon) is practically everywhere? Turns out his sister, Emmy Cicierega, was a story board artist for GRAVITY FALLS. And an unused theme song with words had Neil singing.

No kidding, the intro with the "I NEED TO FEEL LIKE I EXIST" line is crazy, all the squash and stretch, everything feels like it has weight, just all around awesome talent. This is all coming from someone actively going to school for animation, and this guy's 16.
This is my favorite lemon demon song!! I’ve always wanted to draw it but like. How do you draw this song, you know? I like that you made the decision to make the Soft Fuzzy Man more of a shapeshifting trickster god than a cloud or something. Amazing work as always!!!
I absolutely love the contrast between the two characters, where the soft fuzzy man is all kinds of stretchy and bouncy like the characters of Modify and My Trains and Lifetime Achievement Award and everything, it's taken to an incredible extreme here, with the stretching becoming almost all-encompassing. Then you see just how much more solid the cat is in comparison, they keep almost the same exact proportions and an incredibly well-done sense of mass and impact in everything, and the fact that they're able to interact so AMAZINGLY well is just unbelievable, the first watch I almost thought this was a collab from how different the two styles of character were. This is definitely a new favourite.

i really love how much this animation fits the theme of the song. most lemon demon songs take a real issue and exaggerate it and warp it to a comical and/or logical extreme. this animation pairs so well with this song because much like soft fuzzy man intends to, it portrays a very serious issue in a light-hearted and interesting way without losing the main message it's trying to give.

i think my favorite thing about this animation is the ghost has a method to its madness. at first, it seems completly chaotic and random, but you can almost follow its path and movements with a distorted flow through the vid. not sure if its intentional, but its neat.

No kidding, the intro with the "I NEED TO FEEL LIKE I EXIST" line is crazy, all the squash and stretch, everything feels like it has weight, just all around awesome talent. This is all coming from someone actively going to school for animation, and this guy's 16.

This is my favorite lemon demon song!! I’ve always wanted to draw it but like. How do you draw this song, you know? I like that you made the decision to make the Soft Fuzzy Man more of a shapeshifting trickster god than a cloud or something. Amazing work as always!!!
I absolutely love the contrast between the two characters, where the soft fuzzy man is all kinds of stretchy and bouncy like the characters of Modify and My Trains and Lifetime Achievement Award and everything, it's taken to an incredible extreme here, with the stretching becoming almost all-encompassing.
Then you see just how much more solid the cat is in comparison, they keep almost the same exact proportions and an incredibly well-done sense of mass and impact in everything, and the fact that they're able to interact so AMAZINGLY well is just unbelievable, the first watch I almost thought this was a collab from how different the two styles of character were.
This is definitely a new favourite.
