Why does the voice actor of yang get so much hate? I always see people saying, "Yangs voice sucks!" But I honestly couldn't imagine Yang being voiced by anyone else! She does it so well!

I liked the shadow people. I felt like it kept the focus on the main plot of the episode. But I don't mind the idea of having a vibrant city :) it seemed a bit empty last season.

Love watching this production videos. I'm in a 3D class and you can definitely tell who are the animators because they keep little mirrors by their desks and they spin in their chairs to just watch other people in the class or they randomly start walking around, doing weird movements.
RWBY will continue. Kerry and Miles are writing the story as they have been. Monty was far ahead planning the direction the show will go up to Season 5 or 6. The only change their going to have to make is finding a voice actor for Ren. Monty will be missed.
Wow, you guys did a terrific job. Videos/movies typically deliver a radical amount of whatever emotion they want to get across, its refreshing to watch and see how you guys actually made the characters act and behave like regular people for the most part. Good work, Rooster Teeth!

Iaga Vernasee The later seasons of RvB are animated similar to RWBY, because Monty Oum also worked on the later seasons of RvB. So, (at least action wise) they're very similar.

I don't want to take or put words into Monty's mouth but the 'tween' explanation was pretty simplified. Tweens in both 2D animation have vastly increased the speed at which animation can progress but to some individuals can be looked at as lazy or inorganic (I am not saying this from my personal opinion). Personally I prefer non-tweened animation like in old cartoons such as Ren and Stimpy that give the animation a look as if it is 'boiling' (since every frame is more or less redrawn each time, however this is 2D specific and I'm unsure of how to convey a feel like that through 3D. Though I love RWBY how it is now, I do think that heavily reliance on tween animation makes the characters seem very robotic, something I did notice during non-action scenes in season 1. I look forward to season 2 and how important key animation is to the animators of this awesome show :)

This is actually really helpful. I've been interested in how 3D can be used to make 2D animations. Me wanting to actually do something like RWBY in the future is honestly overwhelmed by the fact that one of my favorite TH-cam channels is doing this and allowing us to experience and learn with them

I really love RWBY. The first I heard about this, I immediately wanted to watch it. Then after watching the first episode, I immediately fell in love with it. My brother and sister told me that RWBY isn't that good because of the art, the animaton and the shadow people in the background. But, I still supported it because I love the story so much. I almost wanted to work part-time to buy your merch, but my parents won't let me. So yeah! I love you guys so much! I'll forever support you!

They did more than the monogatari series. No background characters whatsoever, although I think that is artistically deliberate.
I kinda liked it too but a lot of people considered it a lazy alternative so they responded. I'm sure they would have addressed it eventually but the fans sped up that transition

What I've learned from this is that, not only do they voice act each characters, but they also act some of their movement. Awesome!

This is actually really helpful. I've been interested in how 3D can be used to make 2D animations. Me wanting to actually do something like RWBY in the future is honestly overwhelmed by the fact that one of my favorite TH-cam channels is doing this and allowing us to experience and learn with them

When I'm drawing, I put my hands in the position I want to draw them in. Or a stance I want to draw. It's weird when I'm drawing in my class room at school. I stand up quite a lot. .-.

I really love RWBY. The first I heard about this, I immediately wanted to watch it. Then after watching the first episode, I immediately fell in love with it. My brother and sister told me that RWBY isn't that good because of the art, the animaton and the shadow people in the background. But, I still supported it because I love the story so much. I almost wanted to work part-time to buy your merch, but my parents won't let me. So yeah! I love you guys so much! I'll forever support you!
