- We stayed at the Holiday Inn Resort at Orange Lake in Kissimmee, Florida. This 1,450 acre plot is divided into four areas: West Village, North Village, East Village and River Island. Come take a more in-depth look at this place as we show you around the whole resort.

ABSOLUTELY a fabulous place to stay. Just don't get tied up in their "90" minute presentation to buy into the timeshare! They are relentless!
We have done their presentation in Gatlinburg this summer. We ended up paying 49 dollars for a 3 night stay. We listened to them but it was not for us. They can make you feel bad for saying no. Holiday Inn at Orange Lake was amazing though for a stay. Thanks for watching!

Probably one of my all time favorite resorts.
I like the restaurants and of course 2 starbucks on property.

This one is a lot of fun! Luckily you can stay there without buy a timeshare.
I have a random question. Do Americans need a liquor card to purchase booze as a valid ID or do you use your driver's license? I know in Canada we've abandoned the card and just use drivers license as ID but wasn't sure if the states do the same...
It has always been a valid state ID or I believe you can use your passport.
do you know if bicycle rental is available for getting around the resort
Orange Lake does not offer bike rentals but they do have a shuttle service that helps you get all around the resort. It runs from 8am to 12am. Hope this information helps you with your travels! Thank you for watching!
Was there a lot of distance in between pools?
@Eil Yes, they were located in separate areas of the resort. Depending on where you stay, you will probably have one within walking distance but others are further away. We stayed near the lazy river but had to drive to the other pools when we wanted to use them. There is a shuttle you can take within the resort, too. Hope this helps and thank you for watching!
It seems most water slides were on the North side and River side, correct? Also is the lazy river only at Riverside?
So most of the waterslides are at Riverside along with the lazy River. It is really worth getting a room near Riverside. Northside had one small slide that was for children only. There was nothing really at Eastside. Westvillage is near the lobby. There are pools and the lake. You also have the kid zone. Orange Lake is one of the biggest resorts we have visited. So much fun!

@@carissahuizer6854 it is an amazing resort! The kids will have so much fun. We had a bunch of teenage boys as Mike's whole family was there. They loved walking around the resort! Have fun!
Out of the reach of most uk people in 2022 orlando will see a massive drop in uk tourist 2023 onwards
They did see a drop from the UK in 2020 due to covid. I read 2022 was a good year of UK travelers. Have not seen anything about 2023 yet. Travel is becoming more and more expensive everywhere. Lately, We have been looking for a way to save a buck. Thanks for watching!
Wish there were views of the north section
Look at 4 minutes and 6 seconds. It is labeled north village. There is a small waterslide, pool, and cabana in that area next to the rooms. The biggest section is the River Island and the next biggest section is the West side. North and East are very small. This was during covid so not everything was opened either. 🙂
Isn't the Legends golf course on the east side?
I wasn't quite sure so I looked it up. I think so because Orange Lake list it. They had a big golf course there on the grounds. Thanks for watching!
Can the on property shuttle take you for groceries and liquor?
The shuttle does not go off-site. A car would be needed or if you take the shuttle to the entrance of the hotel across the street on 192 there is Walgreens. You could walk it.
Are there watersides that adults can use as well?
It looks like, as of now, adults are allowed on the slide. They had little slides for kids, too.
Do you have to pay for parking your car on resort?
According to the website there is a 15 dollar a night resort fee. I did not see anything about parking.

Are you able to use the lazy river if you stay at a different part of the property? I assume you can go to all the different pools. We are booked at orange lake west

@@everestpartyrentals1256 you are able to use the whole resort. It is a massive place so they have a resort bus that runs until midnight around the property. There are fees for certain things to do there like waterspots. Definitely check with the front desk when you check in about everything they offer. Thanks for watching!

Is west village good ?
The West village is close to the lake. There are water activities to do on the lake. That section has 2 pools, a hot tub, mini golf, and stage area. This section is located near the lobby.
