And then in his next experiments, out of curiosity, he placed a thermometer beyond red light and to his surprise it recorded even higher temperature . Thus he discovered that there is invisible light/radiation and named it infrared rays . Now there is a method to verify and an observation to predict . Ofcourse scientists themselves admit that we have lot to know . But that doesnt mean it is rational to believe if someone claims that invisible flying pigs come out of our bodies after we die . Saying "who knows ? we might discover them in future" is wishful thinking and Appealing to ignorance fallacy . We should ask what is the evidence for invisible flying pigs coming out of dead people , what is the methodology to detect and observe . If the caller was really withholding the judgement , then he wouldnt be calling himself to be a theist .

But his idea of “withholding judgement” makes him a rationalist not a theist… anyway, reminds me of a George Carlin’s joke: if you don’t know for sure if a god exists and he/she is listening to your prayers, you might as well worship Joe Pesci :) Carlin concludes the joke by saying my prayers are still answered 50% of the time just like before so I guess this Pesci worship is as effective as any other God worship!
