My great grandfather was a Nazarene evangelist. My aunt a world renowned nazarene missionary, and my father was a nazarene pastor. Some of you may know my aunt Emma Lou Fetters. She is in her 80s now.

      - Jesus will wield a sword when he returns for judgment day, portraying him as a violent figure.
      - Christians should accept Jesus and suffer for him in order to escape demons, gremlins, monsters, and hellfire.
      - God, in order to manifest on Earth, impregnated a human woman to give birth to a 100% humanified God.
      - Jews will betray Jesus and that Romans will execute him, but his death somehow magically extinguishes sin.
cause this simple execution is in reality all the sins of the world that jesus carry on his cross while he is crusified
he is not put to death because the romans sentenced him. but because he somehow magically extinguished sin by dying.
god is so much great and so smart and love you so much that he sent his only son to die without letting him ask his choice
"father why have you forsaken me" but somehow his death is magical and save ! read john-13 he still is god ! (jesus ret*rded logic)
      - Jesus as both God and human, and suggest reading John 13 to support this idea.
      - the book of Revelation claim that only the elected or those who believe in the man-made book will be saved, while others will go to hell.

Man M The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.[a] 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’[b](A) 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[c](B) There is no commandment greater than these.”

My mother had us kids go to a Church of the Nazarene for a while when we were teenagers and what a naive, goofy bunch of folks they were. They would say things like "we do this and don't do that and we believe this and don't believe that". We would agree that THEY do and don't do and believe these things and told them that WE were not obligated to do or believe those things...in Sunday school...on front of the other kids. I think they finally asked my mother to stop bringing us because it was causing the other kids to probe and ask tough questions also and before too long, we just stopped going.

Lol we just stopped going too when I was like 8 or 9 and im truly grateful for it😂 we didn’t even have a church building it was in a public middle school cafeteria and Sunday school was in a classroom. The pastor left to work at a Christian school and my parents didn’t like the new guy and just never went back

It’s very sad if they could not show you from the Bible why they do the things they do. If there’s not a reason based on scripture, then they certainly shouldn’t make it a divisive issue.
All the Nazarenes I have known have been very kind, loving and servant-hearted people. They actively seek out the poor and needy, and are always looking for ways to help and bless others. most of them are very patient, although like all other humans, some of them have a ways yet to grow in that area! I have not been on the receiving end of any kind of judgement or condemnation from them Even though I have several theological disagreements with them, and I have known many of them very closely.
So all I can say is, all people are different, and we all have a wide variety of things in our own Life experiences that make us the way we are. I’m sorry if you were treated in a way that was less than kind and loving! Hopefully you can connect directly to Jesus because he’s the only one who is perfect. All of us people are only human, and we do fail. 💙🙏🏽💙🌻

Haha why would you go there if you didnt agree w their tenets thats like going to mass and telling the catholic kids there that you dont think mary was a virgin - theyd kick you out before a pen could hit the floor

The problem is many people adenting the church because they follow someone
The must important thing is we need to follow Jesus to the church not follow the worldly men,if we follow Jesus and then any thing happened from the people we are not going to give up
So go to the Nazarene church or go to any christian church follow Jesus to not follow human being

From my conversations with them, they just use different Terminology. The Holy Spirit does accomplish the “Second work of Grace” when we die to ourselves and yield to Him, and He fills us up to overflowing;, but not everyone does receive a gift of foreign tongues along with that filling. That is the position to very many churches. What I understand the Church of the Nazarene is among the many churches who leave it up to the Holy Spirit to choose what gifts He will give to whom, rather than demanding a specific gift. I believe that is where a majority of denominations differ- our understanding of how the Holy Spirit works; and also what our attitudes should be as a child of God. Should we be full of gratitude and thankfulness for whatever the Lord gives us, or should we be demanding and rude?
