    Oooh my goodness, this looks good! It's a lot like Hainanese chicken rice but a bit easier! I'm going to have to try this.

    I saw you had a small bowl of dipping sauce( fish sauce) in 4:51, how did you make the sauce?

      one part fish sauce, 1 part sugar, 2 parts water. Stir and mix with crushed garlic and chili

    Chị ơi ở Đà Nẵng có món gan rim và nộm bò khô. Không hiểu sốt trong đó của chị thế nào mà sốt nào cũng ngon chị có thể up video làm nộm bò khô gan rim được không chị

      the original recipe doesn't has coconut water, it's her personal choice. So yes, it still good if it doesn't have coconut because this is still a famous Vietnam dish. But if you follow her recipe, it'll be good in another way

    Can the lime leaves be substituted for something else?

      I don't think that there's anything that could substitute lime leaves. Since thinly sliced lime leaves go really well with chicken so most of the time it is added along to enhance the flavor, but in my opinion it's completely fine without them if you can't get them from where you live :)

    Do you have this recipe online that I can look at while making this?
    Also does it matter what kind of chicken stock powder I use? Or is there a Vietnamese brand that I should use instead? Is there any substitute I can use if I can't get any chicken powder?
    Also I have another question, let's say I'll be making 3 cups of rice (measurements inside the rice cooking bowl) so would I be using 3 cups of chicken soup?

      Chicken stock powder is for improving the flavour of the rice so you can use any brand as you like. I think it is optional, since my family doesn't use it at all because we're going to cook the rice with chicken soup either way. So you can skip it without any problem. If you want your rice to have a stronger flavour without chicken stock powder, you can make the chicken soup to be thicker (stew it longer so the water will be reduced more).
      For cooking rice, usually we just let the water barely covers the surface of the rice. If there is too much water the rice will become very pasty or worst: porridge.

      if you soak rice with water before hand, I think 1:1 ratio is good

      i think that dish will fine without lime leaves, i have never seen anyone using lime skin for boiled chicken

      +Phạm Thảo Nguyên I believe that it is still okay without lime leaf. anw, in traditional, if you add the lime leaf along with the chicken dishes is the best combination. Com Ga is not an exception.
