    Just bought an Ironside system a couple of months ago. Fractal case (Like the one you showed), Ryzen 5950x processor, Icegiant CPU cooler, 2x32gig Ram, Evga 3080 12 gig, Asus Rog Strix II x570 mobo. 4188 after military discount. They covered shipping AND..........AND.......They delivered EARLY with an EXCELLENT product. I can't say enough good things about em. ABSOLUTELY would buy from them again

    Look into Build Pro PC, they have a prebuilt system with a Ryzen 7 and an RTX 3060 for only $1400, very good value especially for being under $1500.

    Thanks for a great video. I agree that PowerGPU deserves props for stepping up and helping those who got the short end of the stick on their PC orders. As much as I love seeing these super high builds, I'll never be able to afford any of them. The system we bought from CyberPowerPC on the 4th of July is a 12700k and a 3080 GPU and I decided to get a 1000 watt PSU as you suggested in earlier videos so I wouldn't be affected by the spikes. I know I might have overpaid a bit on the GPU, but I'm okay with it because this system will last me for 3-5 yrs at 1440p.
    I also got my Steam Deck this past Friday and I'm so happy. My wife made me a bet last September that if I could drop to under 200lbs by August 1st she'd buy the deck for me. I hit 198 lbs on July 15th so in the end I dropped 60lbs 😋

    I've been wanting a pre-built, and you praise SkyTech. When comparing prices on pcpartpicker, they aren't overcharging at least. I look at a custom build, and they provide info I need for most parts, but they're vague in some areas. "650 watt 80+ Gold" is not enough info. Brand? Modular? Same with "GeForce 3060ti 8Gb". Can I trust they won't give me a bad model to cut costs?

    Ibuypower can keep all of their systems. I do not want one since they give no choice but to install the new version of Windows Vista on their computers. As i told them, since they only have windows 11 right now, I would never buy one of their systems. The only way that would change is if I could get Windows 10 on it and not this crap that microsoft is trying to force everyone to move to. If they stop support of Windows 10 and I will not use windows 11, If I also do not like Windows 12 when it comes out then I might just decide to go to Trisquel Linux instead.

    That $5700 ( with tax included) will probably cost half that or less in 2 years 😂 I don’t see buying a $6000 car and in 2 years its value will be $2500.
    I don’t understand who buys these crazy expensive desktops. People the dudes driving teslas at the age of 20 or something.

    I love all the great new computers, but I think you said it best, for what I use them for it's just not going to be worth a $5000 set up. I can build my own Ryzen 7 with a 3060 and air cooling (just don't run as hot) for $1100 bucks. Considering all the parts will be obsolete soon, I don't need the best motherboard as I will have to replace everything in a couple years anyway! Plus I would love to build my own!

    • @warrior11134

      @Smelly Wrestling Geek I was more referring to AM sockets. AMD is changing their sockets so it will be un-upgradable after 2022. If you were to go with Intel, your motherboards are still able to take new chips. But I am just an AMD fan!

    • @briangrant9942
      @briangrant9942 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@warrior11134to be fair am4 been out a long time probably longer than it should be and it's about time amd is coming out with a new socket but that being said Lisa Su said herself and ''confirmed that AMD will have support for the current-gen AM4 platform for the foreseeable future'' for many years to come and that was said in May 23 of this year so hopefully she stay true to that.

  • @avocares

    Just wanted to point this out from Alaxendar PCs warranty policy. Basically if there is no direct replacement fpr the failed part, they will issue you a store credit for buying a new machine for the value of the failed part. So if the CPU fails after 4 years and Intel has moved past that socket they may give you a in store credit for $300 or whatever it's worth at that time towards a brand new macine, but not actually replace the CPU. At the top end there is roughly a $1000 premium for their PCs vs other quality integrators and $2000 over cyberpower PC of similar configuration. Thats a lot for a warranty that could require buying a whole new rig rather than replacing a failed part...
    "...however, if a desktop computer or component is no longer manufactured or widely supported in the marketplace, or is not otherwise commercially available during any warranty period in this agreement, making the repair of a desktop computer impracticable, Alexander PCs may, at its sole option, elect not to repair the desktop computer, but instead issue an in-store credit for the then value of the desktop computer or component."
