Remember, there are like 300 RuinGuardians all over Hyrule, they're all movable and look the same, but only the 4 shown in the video are dynamic objects in which the glitch will work. Also to note, once you have lifted the RuinGuardian and saved since, it will never drop stuff from lifting it anymore. This however DOES NOT mean the glitch doesn't work anymore. You will still get a stream of ancient parts if you drag it two map units away, the only thing it means is that you can no longer see what you'll get as an infinite stream before completing the glitch.
If I can find ANY glitch that gives me a crap-load of ancient arrows, then I will try to farm a lot of them so I won't have to run out AND I can destroy guardians. I tried to use some on Calamity Ganon a couple of days ago and while it DID work out, it was kind of slow TO work. :)
Is it me or do ancient cores have a very low chance of streaming after moving the guardian 2 map tiles away? I’ve been trying for over 4 hours now just moving so many guardians but haven’t found the lucky one. if it helps i have flipped over and looted at Daval peak and Hyrule.
It's sad that they are designed in this way, because they can pretty much only be used on guardians if you want the value. They can also be used for damage on bosses of course, but they're not much more than bomb arrows, from what I can tell

For anybody attempting the glitch without amiibo, there is a metal chest on a raised platform right next to the woodland tower guardian. ^^ hope this helps!

@@purplectric777 If you walk by a shrine or a stable, the game will auto save. Best thing to do is enter a nearby shrine, because that will completely stop the glitch and you can save without worrying about the game crashing. The second best option is to always have the guardian next to a water source. It is fairly easy to push the guardian into the water with magnesis, then flip the guardian with Cryonis that way (thus ending the glitch).
After an hour of trekking to the middle of nowhere, dragging a guardian, killing two lynels, backtracking for 20 minutes, it crashed... You cannot understand my rage right now
@@marty8765 those are the royal guard boots, if you have the dlc, you can find them within hyrule castle. Pretty sure there is a tutorial somewhere on how to get the full set. Happy hunting?
Sally May no problem, but be careful because there are a ton of guardians that’ll try to shoot at you, so don’t run too far or the ruin guardian will despawn

Some questions I’ve noticed below that I have answers for: Q Does it work for Wii U? A sure does Q Why isn’t it dropping parts when i flip it? A you didn’t save before flipping it previously. (It still works but it’s a roll of the dice now, so good luck b) Q is this patched? A as of 05/15/2019 it’s not Q Hotel? A Trivago Q why isn’t it working? A your not walking far enough. I’d do the one in Gerudo, but if you can’t be bothered, hyrule castle is good too. Q Can’t collect gears and junk when I’ve dragged it out i.e link does grab animation but isn’t actually picking anything up. A there is a couple work arounds, but the easiest is to climb up the base of it and position yourself on top, should yield results. (It’s slippery tho, so it might take a few tries!) Hope this helps anyone who has questions. I’ve been doin this for two days now and I think I’ve run into all the issues this glitch has, so if you have more questions, reply. K love u ❤️

random thing. you might have already thought of this, but I have always been interested in BTB and I had an idea. when you do a perfect dodge of some sort and slow down time, do the same effects occur. So im thinking that you could launch something like a raft to the sky with cryonis by perfectly timing a dodge. it would be useless but very fun!
You’ll never know true pain until you’ve experienced it getting dark in the desert, but you still have your gerudo outfit on and you’re slowly draining hearts from the cold whilst trying to get the guardian you just moved halfway across the map to stand straight up using only a savage lynel sword
I tried that, and then realized it just wasn't happening and wasn't worth the time being spent so I opened my menu and I actually was fine... and then I teleported away and I'm still fine and have all my items so, guess I got really lucky lol
@@nae6174 I was able to fast travel away one time by chance. The best advice I got that I will share is to go near the shrine in the Gerudo desert. The game will auto save. I tweaked this advice and entered the shrine, thus ending the glitch and allowing me to manually save as well. I never got the guardian to flip over, but this saves the day.

This is why I come to you for things like this. Found a different person who covered the same thing except they neglected to mention turning the guardian upright stops the flow which ceases the gigantic spike of lag. Needless to say I started around 6 pm and it is now 11:35 pm. If I had found your video sooner, I wouldn't have lost 999 cores, screws, shafts, and springs.
I've not been able to get this to save yet after multiple attempts. I've filled up my item storage and saving crashes it. I tried slowly walking away to hopefully get out of range and i couldn't get very far before crashing. accessing the menu at all will cause a crash. i am going to try again and slowly move in increments and hopefully the memory will clear out enough between moves, but that will take hours. looking for other ideas to complete a successful save.
Successfully pushed one through the desert with a shield, but had trouble getting it angled at a sweet spot. Ultimately just put it on it's head and got on top. Crouched in the flow and got stuff as fast as I could tap the button. Seems each item comes out of a slightly different spot, so moving around a bit will focus on different items. Thanks for all of your entertaining and educational videos!

i chose the most stupid guardian which is near Lanaryu tower and thennnn I dropped the guardian while crossing the bridge. Trying so hard again, passing all the bridges and finally got the glitch to work then could not tip the guardian over to safely save the game and then CRASHED... Lynk blessed me :(

A lot can go wrong and unfortunately we are not all at Kleric’s level when you decide to drag the Hyrule Castle guardian south across Hyrule field and then are getting attacked by stalkers in master mode. My method has become. 1. Wait for a blood moon. 2. As soon as the blood moon animation is finished clear the field of guardian during the night. 3. Start pushing the guardian in the morning with a cleared field, no chance for a blood moon, and no Skeletons! Makes this almost too easy. Thanks for the video Kleric, just subscribed! Looking forward to watching all your videos!
A few tips: - Make sure you do this straight after a blood moon as if the cutscene (or any cutscene) triggers whilst you’re farming the parts, the game will crash - You can’t access the weapon wheel and switch or unequip weapons either or the game will crash
@@quanghuyphung8472 you can do it as many times as you want with each guardian, it's just that once you flip them over, you can't know what you'll get before you bring them to the glitch zone.
J J i think what can and can’t crash the game whilst doing the glitch isn’t very consistent. for example i did the guardian in Gerudo desert and i could open the inventory and the weapon wheel with no problem at all

Everything about this video was perfect. The Mario 64 references, the text written in the dialog boxes, the gameplay, the everything. This is also very helpful. When Link "took a shower", I just said "WHAT?". Surely it was a joke. No joke 😶 Well done. I will definitely need to try this. Endless ancient arrows will be so fun. Plus, this seems like a much faster way of obtaining rupees than farming and selling dragon horns. This is fantastic. Thanks for uploading this!
Has potential to be better than horn farming, but it's down to the RNG. If you get the most common screws and springs, all this setup and collection will net less than 27k; which is about 45 minutes of horn farming.

Yes, I also just did it and it worked fine (sep 25, 2019). I tried doing it on another guardian after maxing out on gears and shafts and it no longer works. The original guardian I used was the one next to hyrule castle and it no longer dispenses ancient parts, even after a full red moon cycle. Wondering if this is a one time deal?
@@SeaCloud_1 I tried it out and it takes a bit of work, if your on the switch it's the same button as the throw on your right joycon, it's a bit hard to get the timing right but it works
I think the original trial of sword glitch let you collect that over and over, but it would just replace them you could only ever get 1 if I remember accurately. A lot of items had that programming that were meant to only be collected once just like master sword

To get infinite arrows you can also go to the Oasis in the gerudo desert (can't remember the name) and shoot with a multiple bow on the cooking pot (easier than fire and tree)
I thought this was fake but boy was i wrong the guardian glitch helped me easily get maxed arrows and all those cool weapons as well btw im only typing to let new ppl know that this still works
I recommend not having a guardian that shoots out 4 parts at once because it overly lagged the game for me and slowed down the spewing process so that I only got around 400 parts total after pressing A for 50 minutes

A your not walking far enough. I’d do the one in Gerudo, but if you can’t be bothered, hyrule castle is good too.
Q Can’t collect gears and junk when I’ve dragged it out i.e link does grab animation but isn’t actually picking anything up.
A there is a couple work arounds, but the easiest is to climb up the base of it and position yourself on top, should yield results. (It’s slippery tho, so it might take a few tries!)
Hope this helps anyone who has questions. I’ve been doin this for two days now and I think I’ve run into all the issues this glitch has, so if you have more questions, reply.

Afirnside Those are the Royal Gaurd boots, and they are part of the DLC. If you have the DLC you can find the whole Royal Gaurd set in Hyrule Castle

random thing. you might have already thought of this, but I have always been interested in BTB and I had an idea. when you do a perfect dodge of some sort and slow down time, do the same effects occur. So im thinking that you could launch something like a raft to the sky with cryonis by perfectly timing a dodge. it would be useless but very fun!

From the moment you added in the Mario music and the “dive right in” I had to like it.
You’ll never know true pain until you’ve experienced it getting dark in the desert, but you still have your gerudo outfit on and you’re slowly draining hearts from the cold whilst trying to get the guardian you just moved halfway across the map to stand straight up using only a savage lynel sword
this was me literally right now same weapon in the dark lost....
I tried that, and then realized it just wasn't happening and wasn't worth the time being spent so I opened my menu and I actually was fine... and then I teleported away and I'm still fine and have all my items so, guess I got really lucky lol
@@nae6174 I was able to fast travel away one time by chance. The best advice I got that I will share is to go near the shrine in the Gerudo desert. The game will auto save. I tweaked this advice and entered the shrine, thus ending the glitch and allowing me to manually save as well. I never got the guardian to flip over, but this saves the day.
Equip a flame sword. It will keep you warm. Inversely a frost sword.

This is why I come to you for things like this. Found a different person who covered the same thing except they neglected to mention turning the guardian upright stops the flow which ceases the gigantic spike of lag. Needless to say I started around 6 pm and it is now 11:35 pm. If I had found your video sooner, I wouldn't have lost 999 cores, screws, shafts, and springs.

I've not been able to get this to save yet after multiple attempts. I've filled up my item storage and saving crashes it. I tried slowly walking away to hopefully get out of range and i couldn't get very far before crashing. accessing the menu at all will cause a crash. i am going to try again and slowly move in increments and hopefully the memory will clear out enough between moves, but that will take hours. looking for other ideas to complete a successful save.
Successfully pushed one through the desert with a shield, but had trouble getting it angled at a sweet spot. Ultimately just put it on it's head and got on top. Crouched in the flow and got stuff as fast as I could tap the button. Seems each item comes out of a slightly different spot, so moving around a bit will focus on different items.

That feeling when you almost reach area for the glitch to work and then you crush yourself with a guardian.
i chose the most stupid guardian which is near Lanaryu tower and thennnn I dropped the guardian while crossing the bridge. Trying so hard again, passing all the bridges and finally got the glitch to work then could not tip the guardian over to safely save the game and then CRASHED...

For the one in the castle walls, I recommend learning to parry, destroying nearby guardians, and there’s a chest you can use in the river :)

A lot can go wrong and unfortunately we are not all at Kleric’s level when you decide to drag the Hyrule Castle guardian south across Hyrule field and then are getting attacked by stalkers in master mode. My method has become. 1. Wait for a blood moon. 2. As soon as the blood moon animation is finished clear the field of guardian during the night. 3. Start pushing the guardian in the morning with a cleared field, no chance for a blood moon, and no Skeletons! Makes this almost too easy.

A few tips:
- Make sure you do this straight after a blood moon as if the cutscene (or any cutscene) triggers whilst you’re farming the parts, the game will crash
- You can’t access the weapon wheel and switch or unequip weapons either or the game will crash

@@quanghuyphung8472 you can do it as many times as you want with each guardian, it's just that once you flip them over, you can't know what you'll get before you bring them to the glitch zone.
@J J well, it crashed for me. it's possible that blood moons can crash, it's just not garunteed.

Has potential to be better than horn farming, but it's down to the RNG. If you get the most common screws and springs, all this setup and collection will net less than 27k; which is about 45 minutes of horn farming.

Yes, I also just did it and it worked fine (sep 25, 2019). I tried doing it on another guardian after maxing out on gears and shafts and it no longer works. The original guardian I used was the one next to hyrule castle and it no longer dispenses ancient parts, even after a full red moon cycle. Wondering if this is a one time deal?

I think the original trial of sword glitch let you collect that over and over, but it would just replace them you could only ever get 1 if I remember accurately. A lot of items had that programming that were meant to only be collected once just like master sword

To get infinite arrows you can also go to the Oasis in the gerudo desert (can't remember the name) and shoot with a multiple bow on the cooking pot (easier than fire and tree)
If you angle it right, the arrows will hit the sand close enough that you won't need to move 😁

Yeah. If you don't torch walk you just explode for five minutes straight and your game crashes and your file is erased.

I recommend not having a guardian that shoots out 4 parts at once because it overly lagged the game for me and slowed down the spewing process so that I only got around 400 parts total after pressing A for 50 minutes
