I'm from Honduras, just recently moved to Ireland. I lived in Copán Ruinas town for many years. I met so many good people and made amazing friends. This town is my second home. It made me so happy to find this video and remember the life-changing time I spent there. Thank you so much!
Giselle Rodriguez Hey, thanks for your comment! Yes I totally agree, I’ve been back and forth to Copán over the years and I love the area and people there. It’s definitely a special place. Thanks so much for watching!
Thanks for that comment. Love the videos of you diving in Belize and also the festival you attended in Honduras. Will be looking out for your further adventures. Gary
Nice video! I was in Honduras about a year ago, but nice! I appreciate that you liked the ruins and the country! I also am Honduran, so thank you for enjoying the country.
JacobysJourneys last time I went I went to copan, and we always go to guaiamaca. I don’t know how to spell lol and thanks for posting this so I could watch!
It's a Amazing place! I didn't know, it has all that, Copan Ruins I have never been there. I really, have to visit. Thank you for all that information!
Yeah Copan has a lot to see and I'd recommend staying at least a few days to try and do all the local activities. I have a playlist of videos showing many of the things to do while in Copan. Thanks for watching!
Semsem Eini Thanks! Well I stayed in Copán for several months and I never had any problems or saw danger (and I was often out late at night). It’s like everywhere else; there can be dangerous places or trouble in any country if you hang out in the wrong places or with the wrong people. So just be smart who you associate yourself with and do what the locals do. It’s worth the trip!
Diane Flores Hi, thanks! Yeah you definitely should visit Copán! I stayed in a hotel called Hotel Cuna Maya, they were also my host family when I studied Spanish there.
im sorry bro that one inside the bulding is not tje replica thats the original one. thats why they have it covered to save it in good condition. the replicas are out side tje building. and good video bro i thanks for loving my country..
EDUARDO MEZA Actually no, the original structure is still buried underground and protected with glass windows, as can be seen in the underground tunnels in the video @1:40 The tour guides all explain it. It would be impossible to dig up the original structure because it has been built over top by many other ruins. Thanks for watching!
