So personally I don't have as much experience with the LLCs because I wasn't in one. But the main two I think are the engineering llc which is Forbes and for engineering upperclassmen it's located in Panther Hall, and then the nursing llc is in 1-2 floors of Lothrop Hall (but there a lot of nursing students regardless throughout the building) and Lothrop is right next to the nursing building. There's also the music llc which is in nordenberg and other llcs such as service and sustainable living that I think are in the towers. I feel like I'm just rambling general info so let me know any specific questions if I didn't answer it. I had friends that lived in forbes, Lothrop, & the llcs in nordenberg/towers and they liked it. Applying for a llc gives you a better chance of getting into that building
I have been thinking about doing a video about communal bathrooms, but with all the covid stuff happening and with schools maybe not opening in the fall I pushed it off. Key tips are 1. shower shoes/slides are a MUST 2. Having some sort of shower caddy is a MUST 3. A robe isn't necessary but it makes things easier 4. It's best to figure out what time a lot of the people on your floor use the shower, so you can avoid those times and use it when it's empty 5. Clean up behind you and be respectful of the space.
Andd for the different resident halls, I also am planning on making a video on that sometime butttt other than the towers and nordy which I mentioned, there's Holland which is in the quad and has singles, doubles, triples, quads. Main con is that there is no air conditioning and it got SUPER hot the first 1 1/2 months. It has lounges too (every floor I think). My friends who lived there liked it, and its right next to towers, but I would rank towers higher on niceness. Then Lothrop people only think of it for the nursing llc but it's all singles and I lived there this year w my friends on the same floor and I loved it. Better gym than towers, two full kitchens, lounge every floor, sinks in the rooms. its ~4-6 min from towers but cons are its a little uphill and next to the hospital so you hear helicopters. I wouldn't recommend for freshman bc there's not as strong of a floor community & farther from towers/quad but sophomore/junior/senior I recommend it. Then Sutherland has athletes in one building and the honors llc in the other. Sutherland is on upper campus so it's a good (long) uphill walk. Hopefully that helped, lemme know if you have any other questions
Oh my goodness thank you so much for the kind comment that means a lot to me. That's exactly the reason why I wanted to post videos 😊😊 you or her can message me with whatever questions
Omg that's amazing, first congrats. What major are you thinking of? Let me know what kind of questions you have about Pitt I'm planning on uploading some Pitt advice videos soon
I wish I would have went to college seems like such a dope experience ❤️ your dorm is cute seems like you have everything you need .. can’t wait to see more of your college adventures 🥰🙌🏾
Thank you so much for your sweet comment! 😊 I'm definitely an over-packer and over-preparer so I made sure I had everything on deck. I have a lot of college related informative videos planned 🤗

Thank you for that 😊 and haha yeah I'm into art in my free time, but my favorite is painting (even though I haven't in a while) I wish I was better at sketching like you
Yeah I am out of state from Maryland, but there are a lottt of people at Pitt who come from Philly also. Majority of my friends are people from Philly ❤️
this video was awesome! it was very realistic and practical, and as someone who really wants to get into Pitt and would be in a dorm, it helped me understand how strategic i’ll need to be if i house at college.
hey, great video and thanks for so much information!! I'll be attending Pitt in the fall and was wondering if there are any dorms that you wouldn't recommend or that people just don't like, and why? thanks so much!
That's amazing maybe I'll see you then! And you're welcome there weren't a lot of videos up before I got to Pitt so I'm glad this helped you. As far as dorms Holland has no ac and gets really hot in the beginning of the year (like really hot) but I had friends who lived there and they liked it still (singles, doubles, four person rooms), and lothrop (next to the nursing building & hospital) also has no ac but I lived there this year and it was fine. Lothrop is singles and all grades. For the best "freshman' experience tbh towers or nordenberg. Towers is more affordable and is where majority of your grade will be and I loved having most of my friends in the three towers and market right below. *Also they renovated the bathrooms so now they look much better (I'm salty tho)
If you have any questions about Pitt feel free to ask me!! I'm planning on uploading more Pitt related videos soon so let me know what you would want to see!

@@simonesweeney5096 I hope you get nordenberg, that was my first choice too but I'm glad I got tower b because my nordy friends were always having to get someone to sign them into towers and having to walk to market in the cold & walk home in the dark by themselves so that kinda sucks. All good options though
It was such an new and fun experience living away from home and in a building full of your friends and people your age. I think it makes you more independent and I really enjoyed the experience even though my roommate and I weren't that close
@@gabolina6890 have you gone to community college, college as a commuter, or neither yet. Either way yes you are right going to college and living on campus is more expensive than those other two options as much as I will always value it it's definitely not easy to finance 😭
