Which is why this is not what happened in the movie. The Dr. Strange we know seems to flip between reckless action and reckless planning. I think that is one of his weaknesses; he is too eager to fix a problem that he forgets to think about if he should fix it.

1:30 this is actually a great advice no one has told Wanda ever, I mean, in the show she was "a mother" from one day to the other without the process of parenting. I think that's why I feel dull her motivations in Multiverse of Madness.
Should have also had Dr strange mention the fact she could have more than just her kids back 😅 she could have her vision back, her brother, her parents, her country all as though they were never destroyed or in danger 🤣 she could have the life she always wanted and live happily ever after.
I think to counter this reasoning, Wanda said in the movie she needs America's power to "find cures for any illness or virus" if her child ever encounter any. This show's she's already fully corrupted by the darkhold and is beyong reasoning with her
@gamerdiorama she's got the pick of the litter she can pick any reality. One with science so advance she wouldn't have to worry about that. But ultimately she could go for a universe that she has the infinity stones and can just get whatever she wants including curing her kids if they fell I'll. She imagined to small, but it's mostly so it fits the story they were going for. but yes she's probably blinded by her ambition and corrupted so much that she's not realistically thinking it through with all the abilities she has. Like wise the others aren't offering her that solution with the pressure she's putting them under, not giving them time to think.
This video missed the point of Wanda's full plan. Getting to a universe with her kids was only half of her issue. The other half was being able to use America's multiverse hopping powers to be able to go to any universe at any time. That way, if her kids had a problem that her current universe didn't have a solution for, like an incurable disease, then she would just use America's power to go to a different universe that did have the answer to the problem. So that way, in Wanda's mind, her kids would always be safe. So her just working with America to jump to a universe with her kids wouldn't have satisfied Wanda in the movie.
wong: wanda is so far gone, that only the Scarlet Sheppard has the power to redeem her strange: Ok... Winds of Watoomb, bring me to the Scarlet Shepherd wong: no, not Shepherd....
I never got why can't she just create her boys again? Last time it was in that zone they couldn't leave, but surely she's now gotten the hang of these creation-abilities thanks to the book. They say in Wandavision, the Scarlet Witch CAN create.
They never explore the mechanics of why her boys can and do exist in other universes besides hers. If she could just copy whatever the other Wanda did then she could get them back or make them....Or just conceive children the old fashioned way.
Literally the first thing that came up to me while watching the scene - find a universe where kids exist, Wanda doesn't, end of story. Or, I dunno just give birth to some. Except that Dr. Strange would immediately take care of that villain and there would be no character growth for him. He would be the same guy, who always has to hold the knife. 1. He had the time stone against dormammu 2. We have no idea how strong dormammu even is in the mcu. Saying he has 10000 years of experience is meaningless because for all he know he slept for 10000 years

More difficult that making choice to kill teen and take her power, then continue murderous rampage against protectors of earth and add to it 2nd rampage on target universe, then kill their mother (possibly in front of them) and then try to raise those traumatized kids as your own, probably fight plenty of heroes or other wounded parties over years as vengeance/justice for your deeds?? 🤔 (Not counting poss. incursion, or power vacuum inviting all villains to your world since most heroes ended up dead). Yeah i think looking for more suited universe would be worth it even if "difficult".
Infinite universes baby. Not possible. Infinite amount where she is dead and alive with her kids. Wanda just saw the first one with her kids and chose that one.
I always got the feeling that the very act of her living in another universe is impossible, it'd eventually cause an incursion. Chavez can go from universe to universe because only one of her exists, but anyone who goes to a universe with her, the longer they remain in any other universe, the greater the chance of incursion. Basically, Wanda in another universe or bringing the kids to hers would be a ticking time-bomb.
This is also why she needed Chavez's power... Cause if she went to another universe, they'd eventually collide with her own, destroying both. She'd basically need to keep jumping from universe to universe with her family every few years.
@@aishiteru2736 I mean, it's pretty clear movie to movie they had no concern about multiverse continuity. Like, where is this militaristic TVA we saw at the end of Loki? However, of you want a lore friendly answer... The Watcher literally transcends universes. Pretty sure he can make it happen if anyone could. Plus, her universe was wiped of all life by Ultron. It's possible her universe was destroyed to prevent an incursion or simply doesn't have a risk of incursion when the biocompatibility is that low.
Does it matter how many variants you have? From what I understood, the risk of incursion grows every second someone spends in another universe. Whether they were traveling through multiverse, or dreamwalking. Chavez has a home universe, her moms have home universe, and all 3 of them are currently spending time in some different universe.
A vastly superior version of the film. Now they can make the rest of the scenes Wanda and Strange having funny banter about the different universes until Wanda realizes after training the absolute brat that is America that she doesn't actually want kids after all.
Yeah even knowing she went insane due to the Not-Necronomicon, for the VIEWER seeing her go from generally unhinged, to full on supervillain from the course of a TV show and a movie was too much of a leap story wise. Like not a leap unrealistically, like a GIANT leap from one point to another.

The Dr. Strange we know seems to flip between reckless action and reckless planning. I think that is one of his weaknesses; he is too eager to fix a problem that he forgets to think about if he should fix it.
Or talk with Peter and ask him specifically on which people he wants to keep their memories about him being Spiderman. And if the spell can’t do anything specific then have everyone forget about who Mysterio is and his actions
maybe that's why he's Strange

2:05 So basically Wanda just needed to watch Rick and Morty.
WANDA: Wait are you saying I should replace myself with my just killed alternate double in an infinite reality so I can continue living their life to obtain something this world no longer has?
DR. STRANGE: Exactly.
WANDA: isn't that like a plot from Rick and Morty?
DR. STRANGE: Hmmm feels weird you would know about it.
WANDA: Well I've been discovering new sitcoms and after sinking myself into Community I wanted to see what else Dan Harmon did and yeah, feels like what you're suggesting just comes form that.
DR. STRANGE: Look Wanda this is totally different. There's no way anyone in our universe would take something from Rick and Morty.
LOKI: (Offscreen) Exactly.
KANG: (Offscreen) Certainly not.
Seriously though still funny bit here.
Rick and Morty ripped off Kang
Uhh Rick and Morty isn't all that original either. In fact, funny enough, the Council of Rick's is based off the Council of Reed's from Marvel.
What did Loki rip off from Rick and Morty?
Also the Council of Kangs came before the Council of Reeds and Council of Ricks.
@@SeanWheeler100 i think the guys in the above comments are hinting at the fact the Michael Waldron who wrote Loki and MoM,and Jeff Loveness who wrote Quantumania are all Rick And Morty writers

1:30 this is actually a great advice no one has told Wanda ever, I mean, in the show she was "a mother" from one day to the other without the process of parenting. I think that's why I feel dull her motivations in Multiverse of Madness.
Miguel O'Hara did exactly that in Across the Spider-verse and look at what happened to him lol
THANK YOU FOR STATING THE OBVIOUS - LIKE SERIOUSLY THE ABSOLUTE *OBVIOUS* 😭 😩
This is strangely smarter than the real deal
23% smarter in fact! 😊
Oh my gosh, that’s Scarlet!! She’s such a great actress
Oh hi!!! Ty!!
This is *literally* the conversation I had with my best friend when we were walking out of the theater after having watched the movie, hahahahaha.

SCARLET DID A GREAT JOB AS "SCARLET WITCH"!
"but what if my kids get sick? in the multiverse there's a cure for everything"
wanda girl you can literally manipulate reality with your mind
Dr. strange can literally answer "Remember, you trained america. Just ask her"
If that family were this willing to process logical solutions in the comics the Marvel Universe would look a lot different.
I never got why can't she just create her boys again? Last time it was in that zone they couldn't leave, but surely she's now gotten the hang of these creation-abilities thanks to the book. They say in Wandavision, the Scarlet Witch CAN create.
I ask the same question watching the movie
@Fuyuki Ryujin plus in the comics she switches between good and bad all the time, so it isn’t much of a leap for her character.
They never explore the mechanics of why her boys can and do exist in other universes besides hers. If she could just copy whatever the other Wanda did then she could get them back or make them....Or just conceive children the old fashioned way.
But the children need a SOUL which SW cant create
@@unorchestrated2534 then how could she do it in Wandavision?
Literally the first thing that came up to me while watching the scene - find a universe where kids exist, Wanda doesn't, end of story. Or, I dunno just give birth to some. She didn't even have a proper relationship with the fake ones she's obssessed with, they literally existed for, what, a few days or so.

But she wanted Billy and Tommy not some random new kids
@@lI_Speedor_Il , considering that the Ultimate comics Scarlet Witch and Quick Silver had incest with each other then Disney could have adapted those comics into the MCU resulting in Tommy and Billy being considering that they already used the Samuel L. If it was even 1% smarter it would have actually had a Dr Strange villain be the villain of a Dr Strange movie
Sinister Strange as an antagonist and Wanda as a temporary antagonist
@@thedarkone9552 what about someone like Nightmare or Shuma Gorath as originally planned ?
Except that Dr. Strange would immediately take care of that villain and there would be no character growth for him. He would be the same guy, who always has to hold the knife. By having him go up against Wanda, an ally and maybe even friend, he hesitates and has to find a different path instead of just outright destroying her. And that path required him to learn to trust and respect others…something he was lacking before. What was weird about this movie is the fact that he challenged a god with at least 10000 years of experience with magic but runs from someone who he should have had no problem handling
to be fair strange had the time stone for dormamu and therefore could trap him for infinite time forcing him to surrender meaning he didn't beat dormamu by overpowering him. no time stone for movie 2 so he's stuck trying to fight Wanda.
1. He had the time stone against dormammu
2. We have no idea how strong dormammu even is in the mcu. Saying he has 10000 years of experience is meaningless because for all he know he slept for 10000 years

Did yall forget about Black Widow in What if? She went to the universe where her counterpart was dead.

Wanda just commited Rick & Morty 😂
The problem with this is don’t seem to understand that Darkhold corrupts, so that why she only thinking of doing something bad to get what she wants.
Thank you! That's what I was thinking. Like shouldn't the movie be a Lord of the Rings situation with the Darkhold instead of the One Ring & probably Cthon who wrote it instead of Sauron?
