The last one is not an optical illusion its phisics, the loger the string the slower it goes.
Hurst because it physics doesn't make it not an illusion look at the arrow one it's dispersion
If you want to see a spiral in the last example, then the balls seem to move in a (3d) spiral. Maybe sometimes you see a spiral, although you didn't attempt to see one. If this works, then it is an illusion.

LaomerKedor i think most people would focus more on the pattern of a snake's waves while moving rather than the spiral, but once you mention it you start seeing it
