Taeyeon really outdid herself with this one, such an AMAZING lush and spacious track, love this type of sound
She’s Artemis, the Greek goddess of the hunt, the wilderness, wild animals, the Moon, and chastity. I freaking love this concept! She’s too beautiful to be true🥲
Her visuals are basically Cupid meets Greek goddess meets mythical faerie. Absolutely stunning, the king has absolutely outdone herself. Can't wait for the album reaction, as no surprise it's another no-skip album.
She is literally Artemis in the mv, the greek godess of hunting, moon etc.
I'm starting to call the chunks in my playlist with a lot of Taeyeon songs teayeon holes lol
@@mooluvieinsomnia Yep, one of the effects of longevity and good music all during that time is that even if you just limited it to her lead singles, you would still have a lot of her songs on a playlist and even on shuffle there are enough that you can end up with several songs of hers in row. Even if you exclude SNSD, she has been a soloist now for as long as many groups' first contract lasts, which is a lot of singles without even touching her B sides, SM Station songs, SM The Ballad works, and OSTs. To an extent she has the same conundrum that IU has where she has such a catalog of work that she actually could have one of IU's 4 hour marathon concerts and still have songs she hasn't performed. I'd love to see her live in concert one day, but unless she tours the US with more than a handful of dates, getting tickets would be just about impossible.
If Taeyeon was into acting, she would pretty much be the top of the list for any Korean fantasy epic casting a sprite or elf.

INVU mv director explains:
Apollo (Artemis' twin) who was displeased with Artemis who fell in love with hunter Orion, tricked Artemis into killing Orion herself with her own arrow.
Artemis who was sad about the death of Orion, made Orion into a constellation in the sky.
also I think they purposely released INVU on Valentines day ‘coz it fits the concept of ancient greek goddess since V-day originates from greek Mythology.

So incredible! I didnt watch any of the teasers so I wasnt sure what to expect and I was so blown away! The song is so great! The visuals of the MV are insane as well and she looks stunning! I'm also thrilled to say the album is extraordinary! Queen Things Only: Dropping a heartbreaking banger on Valentine's day
Based on directors's comment. this mv is based on greek myth about artemis the goddess of moon/hunt and her human lover orion the hunter. Artemis's brother Apollo god of sun was displeased with his sister falling in love with human so tricked artemis into firing her arrow to kill orion. Artemis in her grief, made orion into constellation. This song is about artemis greiving over her love.
In the mv, the orbs circling around taeyeon are the constellations (orion)

You really have to hand it to Taeyeon's production team. While there may be a single or two of hers that weren't my cup of tea, overall they do an incredible job of finding her not just good lead singles, but incredible deep cuts for her albums.

I keep up with her, but I hadn't really resonated with any of her new releases since All About You in 2019. This song, video, VOICE, and aesthetic just struck me down in cold blood as I stopped by the watering hole for a drink with the full moon shining overhead.
