Hello there, came across your comment and exactly what I had before. Fortunately, I found the way to fix this issue is that it's actually a function, not a default. What you have to do is to install 2 softwares: InterDriver and Printset 5 from Honeywell. Remember to install InterDriver first then run Printset 5. In Printset 5, you can modify the startup action and head-up action of the machine and should change from Calibration to No action. I know it's stupid to have this function hidden in the application and cannot modify from the button on the printer. Moreover, the manual is really sucked when nowhere can I find to solve this issue. Except this, the printer is good and durable!!

@@iScream1 I would but our area has 10 min power outages 4-5 times a day. And I'm not buying a ups for the stupid printer, i rather return it.
