Hi Kristine. Actually I’m fluent in 6 languages. 2 European and 4 other local languages that I learnt in my late teenage years. I have been dying to ask someone for a long period of time. The use of ‘du’ in conversation while communicating in Norwegian. A good example from your conversation, that is if I’m right. 1.) Du, da skal jeg sette over. Et lite øyeblikk. 2.) Du, de svarer ikke… In all the six languages I speak if I use you! (du) like native Norwegians do. My whole conversation wouldn’t clink right and it will sound very rude… Any explanation? Thanks
