In AA people also say they are spiritual and not religious to separate religious people who have hurt many alcoholics with their judge mental ways quoting scripture to put down the sick person, from a person seeking relationship with God. It’s only in seeking God through His son that we find a relationship that leads us to a community where we love others. This has been a life changing challenge. Thank you, God, for giving this word to Ben Stuart. It’s exactly what I needed to help me in this season of life to peel yet another layer of the onion, to uproot some weeds.
when the pandemic closed all the churches, i was shown just how important that community truly was. Three quarters of my bible studies class disappeared. This community you speak of is hollow.
