I watch a lot of coffee content, but I'm new to your channel, and I feel like I still always learn something new about pourover every time I watch a video from you!
I hear you say about the hario that the ceramic gives more temperature stability, but I though plastic was actually the most stable since it doesn't soak much heat. Would be interesting to see a comparison of the brewing temperature between these different brewers with the same input water.
@@JosephElsherbini yes that is also true but to understand this - plastic is not a heat conductor that's the reason it doesnt suck out your temperature - ceramic on the other hand when preheated properly does the same and yes it doesnt dissipate your heat that fast so it actually keeps your bed warm enough that you don't get thermal shock. The dissipation part is the other part of heat retention in choosing your dripper material. This is more apparent in stainless steel and glass. Think of it as heatsink on your computer, so the most effective heatsink is the stainless steel, next is glass and least effective is the ceramic and stone.
This is gonna be kinda random but i can't decide between getting a clever dripper or hario switch.Clever dripper is 500 ml and from what i know switch is max 350 i think and clever is also cheaper in my country. What do you think ?
I haven't really tried the clever dripper but look at it this way - research on the taste profile of the V60 versus a Kalita because that's the extent of these drippers in question. Their shapes would still matter with how it shapes the taste profile. As for me - I would actually prefer the switch simply because of its versatility - I think it gives more value for money and also the switch has better build quality being rubber and glass versus a plastic clever dripper.

@@JosephElsherbini wow thank you!!!
Been waiting for this one!
awesome!
Enjoyed the video! It would be great if you could do a comparison of the Flow Tri-Up Dripper vs V60, new orea and other drippers
@@theAyazAliyev yes we're doing that soon :)
