You make me realise I should have studied Tech Drawing at school and not Chemistry... this is very informative. Thank you for sharing.

No worries, glad it's helpful, there are times when I wish I knew more about chemistry *looks at chemical spill corrosion on worktop* so I don't think you wasted your time.

@@oMikekiMo I literally saw the first question on the old O-level paper, thought to myself f that, and duly put my head down and nodded. Needless to say, I got a U :D

Micheal, thank you for sharing. I think it's great because you draw threads without plugin. Do you ever print out the screw by 3D printer? I ask you because I found the screws and bolts that drawn by my plugin could not work when they were printed out.

Sketchup should be easy to use, this is prevalent.

I think so too. I wanted to draw the screw with sketchup as is without any extra scripts or plugins. Trimble are not making a desktop version of sketchup for free any more, so I redid this video with their new web version. Here is the link if it helps :) - th-cam.com/video/NWZ2kcuRKwQ/w-d-xo.html

You must have the patience of God?

Some patience, yes. However I don't know how patient God is.

This is terrible, you want us to repeat this without explaining or subtitles or a mouse indicator what you are doing? Back to the drawing board. And maybe delete this video as well.

Sorry I wasted your time. Just trying to help. I'll do it again....th-cam.com/video/NWZ2kcuRKwQ/w-d-xo.html

I viewed this purely from a technical drawing perspective (no pun intended) and not as a tutorial, because I don't recall any mention of a tutorial. It's a demonstration. If you're like me, you're going to have to fathom this one out for yourself. To ask Michael to delete the video just proves you're probably someone who expects everything to be given to you on a plate. Life ain't like that.
