What a treat watching and listening to my friend Sonny Emory, whom I've known since he was a youngster, and his wonderful musicians. I hate I missed it.
Yes, a phenomenal show! Great music selection, great band (ALL of them) and of course the untouchable CHOPS of Sonny! I had not talked to him since I met him the 1st time in the basement of Walter Mitty's in ATL (he was still in school). Still a very down to earth, approachable guy. I'm still high from the experience. Velvet always brings top talent into an environment where you can enjoy it to it's fullest. Thanks Sonny!!!
