I spent the last two weeks scratch building my largest diorama project yet! This HO scale mountain toy train layout is twice as big as my desert canyon railroad layout and cost around $1200 to make. I may make some additions to the layout like monsters or structures, but for now, I’m pretty happy with the beauty of the Rocky Mountain landscape.
Speaking of landscapes, check out my new WIW merch designed by my friend, @9-Times! crowdmade.com/collections/boy...
All my craft foliage and scale plants are from Woodland Scenics and Diorama Presepe

It's nice to see how much better he's gotten over the years
Agreed, though he was already amazing at the start!
went from really good to amazing
Thinking the same thing. Always enjoyable content that keeps getting better
Or how much more creative and outgoing
His presentation skills keep getting better too. Even without the hobby stuff it's just generally entertaining.
Man dude I gotta say your train builds are my absolute favorites to watch, the size and scale is so commendable
Agreed you are a legend finally someone else who agrees with me
Big n beautiful build, Boylei
let me fix those 0 replies

Omg is that Mr horseshoe man!??!?!?!!!
Stupidly stupendous, studson
ill help too horseshoe man
Every second of this was mesmerising. I learnt so much
Hi Chris
It'd be cool to see your take on it Chis! Maybe with some OO scale British loco's. You could do a fictional line over the Cliffs of Dover, or maybe in the beautiful scenery of the lake district.
yooo, I looove you videos! :D never thought I’d see you here :)
I think he’s brilliant 🤩
Woah! Wasn’t expecting to see you here! Makes sense though.
Not only is the build amazing, the humour is very much on point!
Oliver! 😊
Yes, but I have to wonder about his dentist...
We making it out of the dentist office with this one
I’m a school teacher in Glenwood; I love sharing your videos with my students. We often have diorama projects to go with essays or research projects and I use your videos as inspiration with the kids on process and details. Would love to have you do a workshop with my students some day if you ever have the urge to visit the West Slope.
Glenwood springs?
You could also do a virtual workshop with him! Ofc if he wants XD, makes things a lil easier to achieve and still fun!
This is so gorgeously atmospheric. As a train nerd, your train builds make me happy.
Looks great, shame the triple loop didn't work out but the trestle supported section makes this look really cool! Do you have a P.O. Box or similar where people can send you stuff?
I was definitely going to say, that looks like HO scale and there’s NO was that was going to work.
Wow, more big builds please! This was a blast to watch come together.
The mountian reminds me of lookout mountain in colorado, and that seemed to be a good idea since you have a weapon off train. So your lookouts can tell the train where the enemy is coming and they can destroy everyone on their train track below the “lookout”
perhaps I;m thinking of a different lookout mountain in colorado but the one i know is where Buffalo bill is supposedly buried... much flatter and not high enough for summer/fall snow
Nerd. Don't overthink the build, dude.
It is flatter this is look out mountain 2.0
@@user-ue2jq8uf6xwhy be rude about it?
@@user-ue2jq8uf6xIdiot. Try thinking about the build, dude.
Boylei is the GOAT
Ahhh... I used to live in Colorado, so every time you do one of these builds, I always miss it. This turned out absolutely fantastic, all the fall foliage with the snow and the color of the water are just so visually pleasing together. And the lighting really complimented it as well, beautiful as always!
It's always a treat when Boylei releases a new video, it's always a fun and relaxing watch. I've started painting miniatures again thanks to the inspiration from all the amazing dioramas.
As much as I LOVE your wild west builds, my heart lies in the mountains so I think this is my favorite build of yours yet.
This is awesome and inspiring, Boylei! Great build.
Came out great!
When Boylei posts a video, I make sure to like, comment and share, which is a tip I learned from my dentist
I absolutkey love seeing more of the mountain builds. It reminds me of the front range of colorado and it kind of has a homey feel to it. Your tressel at the end also reminds of the george town railway loop. Due to how it is a downward sloping gradient and it turns which georgetown was the first in the world to build. Amazing job as always.
Yes! I just went on the George Town Loop and it looks just like it.
The scale of this project is incredibly impressive! The forced perspective with the mountain works so well
I would love to see a diorama of a outlaw gang blowing up a bridge with a train heading towards it in a similar setting.
That is simply amazing and beautiful
Truly splendid. What I wouldn't give to have a tour of all your projects in person.
Spectacular! My son and I have an O scale layout that is 6 x 11 that I have “landscaped” over the years. Really appreciate your innate talent and meticulous detail. Thanks for sharing!
“I called it good” that never gets old
Very much love the color scheme and the fall vibe.
I absolutely love all your dioramas, and this one has to be one of my favorites! The train and the landscape looks so awesome together! Thank you for all the work you do to make these awsome videos!
It looks so awesome! Idk why but made me want to see you make a fair ground with a wooden rollercoaster. If only there were moving coaster tracks🤔
This is honelty the best one so far!
i love trains and mountain dioramas and the music was perfect
This is an amazing diorama, honestly, you have great skills and you should keep up the work and effort, well done!
Love your stuff man!! The train vids and starwars dioramas are my favorite
Man, Sundays are quickly becoming my favorite day of the week
This is the best Thumbnail I’ve ever seen in my entire life
you must now make a third, even bigger train diorama so you can include the "fun layout" lol
You are the first comment
My Sundays are instantly better when Boylei uploads.
“That’s because of the large gap…”. THE most brilliant way to say shut up and see! 😂
Art at its Purist Form. ❤
Total Awesomeness 😮
OH BOYLEI! IT'S HOBBY TIME!
So So so beautiful
That's definitely one of the higher 14's. Beautiful!
Fantastic model and v well documented and presented
Fantastic use of products!! Amazing result. 😍😍😍
Can we all stop and just marvel at this mountain?! Awesome job.
This is the gateway drug to those absolutely amazing ultra realistic full-room-size model train layouts.
i think this is the coolest diorama yet :)
Heck yeah, 1 am! Nothing better.
Jesus, what a beautiful set.
Man, I love trains.
Gotta love that black 4.0
The amount of hours I have watched you build dioramas knowing full well I will never in my life build one is staggering.
Absolutely amazing!
love the forced perspective mountain!
Like a beautiful painting!
I really hope that Boylei connects every imaginary Wild West build together to make one HUMUNGOUS imaginary Wild West diorama. Absolutely amazing build btw!!!
Absolutely amazing 🙂
Marvellous stuff! This came together beautifully, the colour gradient especially coming down from the cap to the warm mid tones for the scenery and then to darker blues for the lake just looks so great. Really good job!
The frost shredded wheat comparison was as perfect as this diorama. Absolute beautiful masterpiece.
Three Words....Stunning....😜
It looks like a bob ross painting come to life and i, for one, am here for it
THE SAGA CONTINUES
This guy will really take the most basic model train set and the. It into a legit work of art
I don’t think I’ve ever seen forced perspective that good on a model ever
HOLY SMOKES!!!!!! Seeing larger work from you is such a treat!!
Such a peaceful landscape....
Maybe TOO peaceful...
WOW. Amazing. You are extremely talented.
My kids and I love these train and larger terrain builds. 💪🏽 Found my four-year-old elbow-deep in kinetic sand and chopsticks the other day, murmuring to himself about carving styrofoam and digging tunnels through mountains for his trains. You’ve started something in that little brain!
Like that you choose autumn as the season. The most beautiful time of the year.
🍂🍂
Boylei needs to make a freaking mini museum exhibit for his Wild Imaginary West
This is so beautiful 🤩
Amazing and beautiful.
Oh my god! I never thought I'd see the day! -a good design on merch that isn't offensively shouting the channel.
No joke, I'm pretty sure this is the best merch I've seen someone sell, it's actually wearable and won't get you beat up.
Insane craftsmanship
Wow that forced perspective REALLY works
This really is the Great Value of dioramas!
You’ve gotten so good at this over the years! The forced perspective look you were aiming for really sells! Great job!
I really love trains, and it’s amazing to see what you can do! The detail and precision put into these layouts are spectacular!
You make this look easy but it truly and really isn't at all.
Beautiful work and the comedy is a nice touch to the video.
Enjoyed this, thank you.
Insane build looks brilliant
Yah, the diorama wasn't bad either.
Epic! Good luck on moving that behemoth!
It looks great again! We need more of the Wild West theme 😊
Wonderful build, Boylei!
That perspective is great
That was by far the best instructional video. WOW
i just cant say how much he has inspired me. when i watched his videos i just felt like this is something that i would love to do and i have made 20 small dioramas sense then. i just cant explain my gratitude for what he does and if i could wish for anything it would be to talk to him and get to now him better.
As always, a great video. Cant wait for you next weird west project.
Looks awesome. Next time paint the track in a brownish/rusty color. It makes the track look more realistic.
the vision went crazy on this one haha, well done
Very very nicely done 👏🏻👌🏼
I love your satisfied videos ❤❤😮😮😮
Beautiful!!!
Kudos to you for attempting the triple, double-loop underpass. But, I’m glad you double, triple-checked so you didn’t end up with another tripped-up, double take. Instead, the nestled river overpass trestle allowed for double, even triple the enjoyment with every single glorious double pass.
This looks so good it’s ridiculous. The mountain top really looks further away, the colors are beautiful. Congratulations!
Another excellent build. If Neal is the king of terrain builds, then you are definitely a prince.
Amazing and beautiful diorama as always. I must say I do enjoy watching how you bring all of this to life, but my favourite thing is your narration, I found it pretty calming, soothing yet fun, so I am always looking forward for the next video.
A gorgeous and mayestic landscape for this epic train.
Baffled by how huge this is and how you've nailed every single aspect. The snow on top looks amazing, the color transition in the foliage is genius, and a perfect resin lake. Truly a culmination of skill
Always starting my week off on the right foot with hobby time. Thank you sir.
Wow! It’s amazing! Thank you to share with us!
This is so beautiful! You've captured Colorado in the autumn in the most perfect way, thanks for your wonderful videos!
That looks awesome 👏
When I saw the thumbnail of this video I was, and still am excited
