Since most of you children don’t know who this lovely woman is, which is fine, nothing wrong with that. Allow me to introduce you to Younha. Debuted in 2008, and has been a well-known and respected artist in SK. Some of her biggest hits include “Waiting”, “Comet/Houki Boushi” (for all my anime friends, that’s the 3rd ending from Bleach) and “I Believe” (my personal favorite). Her style I would say can be pretty versatile, from a pop-rock standpoint to a soothing ballad like this one.
The fact that she wasn’t accepted due to her “looks” (which is not true because she looks beautiful) when she tried to debut/start in Korea is infuriating. Glad she didn’t give up and kept pushing forward making her own style of music. What a blessing she is as a singer to many.
Tbh, I'm glad she didn't make it in the auditions to become just another typical girl kpop group idol. Think about how many girl groups that didnt make it despite the years of training before their debut. Younha has gone through many challenges as a solo artist, but that's also the reason why we can enjoy so many different styles of music from her like rock, pop, ballads, r&b, and even a bit of jazz :)

I started listening to her when she released her "Someday" album. She, alongside IU, are the cream of the crop SK has to offer. I mean, these two gals are just amazing and consistent as opposed to their Western counterparts who start decent and then suddenly making pornographic music videos later.

Kelvosaurus to be fair, i don’t know how big the demand will be for her to do actual sets, esp in my motherland. I feel like for younha (+nell), i’d be better off aiming to attempt ticketing for her annual concert in kr itself. But we used to get decently known kr solo artists back then, so maaaaaybe we can hope for unnie to come. I feel iu’s fame and popularity are not comparable to unnie’s when it comes to hoping for a concert stop.
Her songs are beautiful like OSTs. She deserves better. Literally no different in her vocals in M/V and Live. My new favourite soloist. If there was nothing like Big 3 and if people liked artist because of their talents then she would have been famous. She is so beautiful and talented.

The high note at 2:53 is breathtaking. She still had the power although she is not in her peak anymore in vocal prowess. And this music video although with little promotion through the teaser, no hype from kpop fandom, she is not popular among international fans but still topping the local chart. Younha is a rare species in the industry. Her voice tone/timbre have many variations. Did you listen to her live performance in i am a singer 2? Her voice remembering me of malaysia diva, siti nurhaliza. She can change her voice tone to suit the song.

winter flower was the first song i heard by younha thanks to the collab with namjoon. her vocals are SO FLAWLESS. SO PERFECR. SO BEAUTIFUL. i listened to all of Unstable Mindset immediately and oh my goodness, it’s amazing. and Dark Cloud is one of my favorites.
People especially international fandom still didnt appreciate younha. I'm really sad. She had excellent vocal ability, also really beautiful, can be an actress but she choose to concentrate on her singing career, can also dance and being a radio dj, she can compose music and a pro in playing piano. I never though younha can have variety of voices. Her tone is different in each of her songs since her debut. In this song, if you listen carefully, it is soothing and she had a beautiful voice. While she had a deeper strong tomboyish voice in her old japanese songs.

안녕하세요 중학생때 우연히 꿈속에서를 듣고 윤하님 노래는 항상 플리에 꼭 넣어다니는 올해 고3입니다 작년 8월29일 학교에서 공황발작을 겪고 지금은 불안장애,조울증까지 더해져서 현재진행형으로 고생 중이에요.. 매일매일이 불안하다 보니 사람 만나는게 무섭고 힘든데 또 어쩔때는 사람이 그리워요 근데 막상 만나면 저 사람이 나를 해코지 할 것 같아서 무서워요 약간 이런 점이 이별후에 그리워하는 모습과 아주 약간 닮은 것 같아서 먹구름을 좋아하는 편이에요 26도 좋아하는데 이 노래는 제 정신질환이 완치되고 나서 듣고싶어요 그동안 고생했다고 아무튼 이런 곡 만들어주셔서 진심으로 고맙습니다 항상 잘 듣고 있습니다..! 다들 건강하시고 행복하셨으면 좋겠어요!

The high note at 2:53 is breathtaking. She still had the power although she is not in her peak anymore in vocal prowess. And this music video although with little promotion through the teaser, no hype from kpop fandom, she is not popular among international fans but still topping the local chart. What a wonderful singer.

correct me if i'm wrong but i feel like those paper aeroplanes represent younha's memories of her ex. she's always throwing it within the house (memories being trapped in her mind) and sometimes even throwing it at the wall, causing a hole in it ??? i feel like that could also represent how the memories are coming back and hurting her, but after that she decided to start letting go and i think the ending scene where she puts the last plaster on the paper aeroplane and throws it out signifies how she's gotten through the last step of healing and is now completely over the breakup. just my interpretation but this song is so good how is she so underrated

Younha is a rare species in the industry. Her voice tone/timbre have many variations. Did you listen to her live performance in i am a singer 2? Her voice remembering me of malaysia diva, siti nurhaliza. She can change her voice tone to suit the song.

I never though younha can have variety of voices. Her tone is different in each of her songs since her debut. In this song, if you listen carefully, it is soothing and she had a beautiful voice. While she had a deeper strong tomboyish voice in her old japanese songs.
