Thanks for this video. It suits me very well right now. Right now, somewhere in the opposite hemisphere, there is one car in the heart of Europe that needs it.

Good video Problem solver garage! The specs in your shop manual may be incorrect. It is showing positive camber in the front and I think that should be negative. Most videos and forums seem that negative camber is preferred for these c3 cars. My 1979 Has been eating up the outside of the front tires. I checked the camber and it shows about positive 1 degree on each side. Perhaps the previous owner was using the same manual as you have. I am going to shoot for negative 0.75 for the front and negative 0.5 in the rear. Also, adding shims brings the top of the tire inward towards the engine. Removing shims brings the tire outward. You stated oppositely. Easy mistake.
    Blessings. 👽🐍

Damn, every time you put out another video, I have to go out to the garage. More than likely I'll need to put the car on jack stands and make sure my stuff is in order. It's work but I still thank you. So far I'm doing good.

You earned the title, THE MASTER… in auto mechanics tutorials.
I went to auto mechanic school, got my certificates, and to be honest with you, my teachers were nowhere near as great as you… teaching with precision articulated instruction skills and detail. I enjoy your corvette videos, because I’m into old school mechanics, before the computer stuff. Thank you for sharing. Merry Christmas everyone.

Thanks, that's great, the two things my C3 needs are wheel/tow alignment and setting up the Holley carb properly, both covered by your videos, makes it all look simpler than I thought. You are the best man.

Enjoyed your process. I wrestled with a 49 GMC straight axle with a measuring tape then made up an adjustable rod with tips that fit in the treads. Made it much easier for me but you made it look easy your way. Goes to show there's more than one way to skin a cat, LOL.
    Carry On.

On that last test drive watch the steering wheel jerk to the left as soon as he lets go of it to hit the turn signal.

I have done my wheel alignments using a little different method using straight edges on the sidewalls and then measuring from straight edge to straight edge with a measuring tape on my vintage British sports cars. BUT… I like your method better! For the heck of it, I bought my car in to a alignment shop to check my work where they used lasers to adjust the front end alignment… mine was right on the money! So yeah, you guys can definitely do this at home just like this video demonstrates using very basic tools, jacks, marked blocks of 4x4’s or whatever and a tape measure. Great video with clear instruction and great camera angles as always on this great channel. In the old days if my steering wheel was off after alignment I would remove the steering wheel and move it over a few splines. Live and learn I guess!

Great video. I'm a subscriber. Question: I believe that when you adjusted the shafts (tubes) you rotated one in one direction and the other one in the opposite direction. Since the tie rods and tube ends have a left handed thread at the outer end and a right handed thread at the inner end, if you wish to keep the alignment, you should rotate the shafts in the same direction, UNLESS if a previous owner installed the tie/rod/shafts backwards. In case I missed it, can you clarify if you actually rotated both left and right shafts in the same direction? Thanks! Also it would be great if you can show us how to adjust the caster. Thanks!!

The tape is too complicated and hard to use. Use a 1x4 x 10’. Stand 1x4 up on some blocks. Mark on one side of tire and check on other side of tire. If you think there is an issue take it to a shop. The toe in has to be adjusted in relation to the center line of the car. Same for the rear.
