transforming back from head mode to trex mode is finicky. You should simultaneously press the trex head and the robot mode head in the collar . After a few paint chipped, I was able to put it back in properly. This should have been included in the instructions. Plus the elephant legs needs additional tool to transform back to its elephant mode, there's no way to pull it back without using a tool. Priced at $400+ USD? a bit disappointing. But IMO this is the best looking dino megazord.
I agree that a swivel would be nice on the Tyrannosaurus head, however I feel like if they attempted to add a swivel, it wouldn't collapse into the chest as smoothly for transformation. It would be way too finicky and there'd be alot going on for that small area of the zord.
Nice review. I really wish they’d gone for a more classic look with this quality. The SOC has such limited articulation below the waist. Hopefully they make another sometime

Do you collect transformers at all? If even not check out "D-Zef" by Mastermind Creations. It pulls off the exact same thing swimmingly.
@@KumaStyle OK I just checked it out and they did pull it off very well, idk why Flame Toys didn't add a swivel.
