- After finding a bag containing some jewellery whilst magnet fishing. The Wendal's do the right thing and take it to a police station.

The second necklace (the one I still think is from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York) could be vermeil, which is gold over sterling silver. A jeweler should be able to tell you.

Could have been a burglar's haul, probably sorted out the pricey gold etc, that was what's left, potential evidence so chucked it in the river.

Callum's specs are lopsided. Take them in to be adjusted, only takes five minutes or so.

Take it to a jeweler to get them valued.
Think we'd have to give them a bit of a clean before a jeweller would want them in their shop.
Just catching up on this video. On fbook there is a Red Alert page which you could put some pics of the jewellery on. It's a site that is used to trace owners of stolen items - among other things. Worth a try? Great video btw 🙂

Some nice pieces. Callum was lucky. With a bit of cleaning and some repairs he can sell them at a flea market for a few bucks.

It's been split now, The christening band is certainly silver it's British and hallmarked.

The perl's can be cleaned and "rewired" put a new clip on them and done 😁
Jewlers have a special kind of wire for that with metal in it so it can handle a bit of force.
And every bead should have a knot to keep it in place so that when it does break you don't lose all of the bead's.
(I did allot of those repair's in the past)
For the rest ??
I sugest utrasone cleaning after a time in a tumble polisher (don't know how you would call it but its basicly a round container full of small metal bar's and ball's with a watery polishing agent).
That way you the least amount of work on them 😅

Hey that big rock that stuck to the Magnet on the 7:20 Mark. I believe it is a METEORITE! Most if not all are magnetic (google it lol), and one that large could very valuable! So whenever you get a rock that sticks to your magnets, take a closer look at them. Just a heads up!
It was slag, there is lot's of it in the river around there.

I am watching this "very cold" video from Canada. We have 18" of snow and a 70km wind blowing. You have green plants and open water. I guess cold is based on perspective. ☺
Im in North Dakota and i guarantee you dont know what cold is untill you experience-40 with a 50 mph wind .

Awesome video guys and fantastic find from Cal there and you did your best to get it back to the owner ...some of those items that have makers marks on could be good maybe victorian they used to wear lots of constume stuff and they don't tend to put makers marks on trashy items ...Cal and beef don't look comfortable in front of a police station and beef defo does not look comfortable behind a bar lol ...cool video and all the best for 2020 :))
