শক্তি ফিলমের এক অনবদ্য নিবেদন "আরাধনা।" এই সিনেমাটি 1969 সালে দুবার দেখেছিলাম যখন আমি সবে কলেজ জীবনে পা রেখেছিলাম। এখন আমার একাত্তর বছর বয়সে নূতন করে দেখলাম। রাজেশ খান্না আমাদের কাছে সাতের দশকের বলিউডের মোস্ট রোমান্টিক হিরো রূপে পরিচিত ছিলেন। তাঁর যে কোন সিনেমা আমি পাগলের মতো দেখতাম। এখন কোলকাতার অনেক সিনেমা হল বন্ধ হয়ে গেছে তাই আমাদের যুগের সিনেমা পাগল আর নেই বললেই চলে। এখন অনেক সিনেমা আমি ইউ টিউব থেকে দেখে আনন্দ উপভোগ করি। আরাধনা সিনেমাটি বানিজ্যিক দিক থেকে একটি সফলতম সিনেমা। রাজেশ খান্না ও শর্মিলা জুটির অনবদ্য অভিনয় আজও মনের মধ্যে গেঁথে আছে। সাথে অশোক কুমারের অভিনয় ও যথেষ্ট তাত্পর্যপূর্ণ। তাছাড়া কিঁশোর কুমার ও লঁতাজীর গানগুলি আজও অনেকেই কন্ঠে ঘুরে ফিরে বেড়ায়।
I still remember the day - 18 July 2012. I was 5 years old,..I am a fuckin big fan of Kishore Kumar, and being a 5 year old I used to listen to His songs from vividh bharti's geetmala..the day kaka died I thought Kishore daa died on that same day, so when the tv channels were telecasting his antim yatra, soon that young handsome face appeared from Aaradhna..and the chorus of song kora kagaz tha ye man mera! Me being a literal 5 year old had started sobbing so badly I can't even explain! This was Kaka's and kishore daa's charm for me! Haven't even met them for once..but they are unbelievably handsome and majestic!❤❤

Never made me emotional this much.. the trails and tribulations that sharmila faced in life, losing her fiancee, father who supported her and to land in prison.... I remember watching this, as a little child with my mom, what a beautiful movie. I remember my ma giving me a hug, when the son finally recognized his mom. Such great memories. I'm not indian, but they have some of the best movies I've ever seen.

Amazing movie. Extraordinary print on 4K, worth watching again on a Smart OLED TV. Songs are fantastic and Rajesh Khanna/Sharmila both look stunning. 10/10! Best 2.75 hours spent, rather than some of the flop movies currently being produced!
Sorry to say but they have completely destroyed the film by chopping off the top and bottom of the film to fit a 16:9 screen. These idiots have no love for art.

You should be grateful that the film quality is perfect and when this movie 📼 was released in 1970, we didn't even have a Colour TV 📺 or VCR.

PS: Have you seen a 4K Blu-ray of a Hollywood movie from the 1960s? I'm sure you haven't or you wouldn't be terming this as "film quality is perfect".
