Hydraulic lime is classified into 3 categories
feebly HL
Moderately HL
Eminently HL
slaking time for all there 3 hydraulic lime is different. eminently HL takes long time for slaking and feebly HL slakes with in few minutes. so the option slakes gently is the right answer for this question. Also the other options are not the characteristics of HL. Hope you understand this.
