Almost impossible to get visa for Portugal from Pakistan. Also Portuguese residency is very hard takes 2 years ONLY after you pay regular taxes.
TRC: 2 years
Citizenship eligibility: Another 5 years
Passport: Roughly 1.5 years.
Total: 8-9 years for passport.

@littlebirdie9667 - Canada Visa is also very hard. Even if we get it, it's very difficult to get a job because we don't have Canadian education and Canadian work experience. Medical is free but patients have to wait for 8 hours for their turn. It is also very difficult to live and work in extremely freezing winters; every morning we have to remove snow from the front of the house and also dig out the car from the snow otherwise we will get a fine. Canada is also becoming expensive day by day. Plus, people are losing jobs in Canada because everything there is becoming online and digital.

@@ivymike6055 true, part of the reason I didn't move to Canada, high taxes are also making people leave Canada especially in the case of high earners. I still prefer Portugal but you need to be highly skilled to survive here in Europe. But no country is perfect and its all about personal preference.
