Lisa, this series is just fantastic, I am a relative newcomer (about a year) and have bought all the books, watched all the videos and by far your choice of keywords is so clear and your explanations so spot on. There is a clarity and succinctness to your explanations that is brilliant! Thank you many times over. Deb
@@Lisa_Papez I completely agree with @abracadebra! I love that you give enough information for it not to be too limiting, and yet not going all over the place. It really helps to open up the "core possibilities" of a card on which we can build with intuition! Thank you so much for this series 🥰
I’m totally starting to understand how to read the cards!! I saw the 9 of wands and I immediately thought “he looks like a goalie!” Then you said the key word is protect. Thank you so much for this course, I’m learning so much!!! 🩷🫂
At the risk of being everyone's 4th grade teacher, it's "persevere" - only 2 "r"s 😁 (Hint: it's from the same word as "sever", meaning you're breaking through your obstacles)
I have been reading tarot cards for myself for almost four years at this point and I must say, going through this series has helped me make more progress in understanding each individual card and really learning it by heart than any other method that I have tried in the past. This is amazing, thank you so much!
10 of Wands has come up a couple times recently, and while burden / overwhelm may have been an aspect of the situation, it was ultimately "perservere" that was the message. Also like your choice of "recognition" for the 6. While I have learned it as "victory", the energy is generally about being seen for said victory. Thanks for this. Very helpful.
Really interesting to see where I had found some of the exact same keywords after working ahead from your Majors videos in this series. Here's what I had so far and may borrow some of your words that seem closer to the truth: I - SPONTANEITY II - VISION (seeing possibilities and inspiration) III - EXPEDITION IV - CELEBRATION (a milestone makes much more sense) V - COMPETITION VI - RECOGNITION VII - CONFRONTATION VIII - INITIATIVE (I like that momentum is movement already underway) IX - VIGILANCE (could represent guardedness, suspiciousness, or a healthy alertness) X - LABOR (could be Herculean or Sisyphean)
@@Lisa_Papez The reason I had steered away from using Inspiration for the Ace of Wands when studying these on my own was it seemed to overlap too much with my understanding of the Two of Wands, and that visionary aspect (Inspiration being synonymous with seeing Possibility in things). How do you see these as similar or different concepts?
Thank you!! You have no idea how stoked I am to see your TWTW pop-up on my feed, each week! I trust your insight and intuition, and that really matters! I wouldn’t take a free class from just anybody! 💕💓💓🥰🙏❤️
Just finished lesson five and it was a good lesson. This one has been the most challenging due to cards 3,4, and 9. Thank you for providing these lessons.
I had to wait all week to watch. Slowly getting this deck together. Ultimately hoping to broaden the spectrum of possibilities within the cards and reading. Thanks for doing this for everyone Lisa.
The wands suit is the one that has confused me the most out of all four, because several of the cards seem to have overlapping meanings etc. So this lesson is really needed and I'm probably going to have to rewatch it a couple of times :D. It was also really helpful that you talked about some of the wands cards in the live Q&A, that video is also on my rewatch list!
Thanks again Lisa! I agree with one of the other commenters in that your teaching style is so clear and succinct. AND it sticks in my old brain. LOL :-)
In the Major Arcana the names of the cards already have meanings, but in Wands/Clubs etc without your explanation it's impossible for me to figure out what they mean. Thank you for your lessons.
Really enjoying these lessons, even as a person with Tarot experience. Loving the perspectives on the cards. I really feel this will help me with some decks that I don't find quite so easy to use. 💖
Hi Lisa my name is Felecia. I am throughly enjoying your channel. It is so helpful. I love these videos!! I mixed your meanings with other until I found one key word that felt like it was for me,.. this is a game changer for me , It’s been hard for me over the years learning the meaning. That you for giving me a jumping off point. I love your content and I have your book as well. So good😁
Hi Lisa, I would like some clarification please. Do you see achievement and milestone as similar or significantly different? I’m vacillating between them for the four of wands. I’m might be overthinking it a bit much, but I really wanted to ask.
So sorry I'm just seeing this now -- for me I think you could use either of those words. I like the idea of a smaller accomplishment along the way meeting the bigger goal or attainment that comes near the end of the suit! :) You can always work with one word for a while and then swap out later... some of the words I used previously (and in this course) have changed for me even since doing this! :) Don't be afraid to let it evolve!
Thank you for putting chapters on these

I always think of wands as being the fire in our belly.
Pents feet, wands gut, cups heart, swords head.
Thank you! That's very useful, and never considered. 😀
LOVE THIS and think you may have shared it to me before? It sounds familiar and I lovvvvve it!
Inspiration - Possibility - Embark - Milestone - Competition - Recognition - Defend - Momentum - Protect - Persevere

@@Lisa_Papez Looking forward to seeing what I can borrow from the courts and other suits!

Vigilance for the 9 of wands is a great choice.

3 is more of a launch than a ship coming in sort of reminds of the country song "wide open spaces."

I started reading tarot about 15 years ago but I must say I am truly loving this
I really love your choice of keywords!
I especially lovevembark and momentum I love this course 💗

Really, really nice course, Lisa. Thanks, so much.
You're very welcome!
When are you going to post the next lesson?
i do see momentum in the pip deck... nuclear energy bursting into 4 direction
YES! love that!
I felt that too but you stated it so nicely!
Didn’t we have “momentum” for the chariot?
I prefer “exhaustion” for the ten of Wands.
Nice keyword for the ten of wands. :) And my suggestion for the chariot in this course was "Drive".

@@Lisa_Papez This makes a lot of sense. The idea of a smaller accomplishment leading to a larger one. Thank you!!
