Confidence , He knows he stomps anyone mechanically , so runes doesn't matter. The reason he is one of the best yasuos and the best in yone.

@@CjComments Is not about mechanics, is about matchups and how each champion works. with Lethal Tempo he is able to punish Illaoi way more because the DPS gap is higher than using Conqueror just because the AS increase benefits Yasuo Q CD too so that's more damage. Illaoi is ability caster, she depends of her CD to do damage so when you avoid her key ability (E) or she miss it, running Lethal Tempo ables you to more damage on that window oportunity.
