I just watched 'sin-sin', and it's a wonderful film. Thank you. It popped up saying "short film" so I expected it to be 5-8min, but the rhythm and dramaturgy were so compelling that I watched it through straight away
This is awesome! Not only it is a really cool effect, being able to do it in camera is fantastic!!! Great job Sigma! The FP looks like an incredible achievement and the 2.0 firmware update has really allowed it to stand out! Keep up the great work! Can’t wait to see what else your team has in store.
This is fantastic - would love to play around with one of these for some of our client work. I wish Sony would allow other brands to use their lens mount..we have all Sony glass :(
They may be able to improve upon it slightly via firmware, but they are using a contrast detect system, which essentially means there’s only so much better they can make it vs phase detect systems more commonly found in Sony and Canon bodies

There are a number of relatively affordable adapters you can find via Amazon that will convert your E mount lens to fit L!

Source material should be mov, right?
Source material can be Cinema DNG as well -- whatever can be recorded internally -- but the exported cinemagraph will always be MOV.

This feature is as useful as double exposure on a digital camera.
