Hello Boki, it always looks so good when you eat tteokkbokki so I wanted to try it. I went to the Korean grocerystore around the corner of my home. The vey nice shopkeeper advised me to try the ‘mild’ spice sauce.. Talking about a spice wimp- my mouth and stomach were on fire 😂I liked the taste but it was way too spicy for my European taste. I guess you have to get used to it. I’m from the Netherlands and love to try new recipes… 😊❤
try rose tteokbokki ( normal tteokbokki with cream/milk and cheese), this one is for who can not handle the spicy one, can easily enjoy it and tastes real good! and there's goongjoong tteokbokki (궁중떡볶이, tteokbokki's for royalty), which make with the soy sauce and not spicy at all.
