Estimation of Ni By EDTA complexometric method

Analysis of nickel is important, especially in minerals and alloys. Nickel is titrated with EDTA against murexide indicator in an alkali medium. The reaction between EDTA and Ni2+ ions is relatively slow, so titration should be carried out slightly slower than in other direct EDTA determinations.
