If the triber that got tested for africa got only 2 star for not having 6 airbags, so does that mean that we here in India can make our triber 4 star safety by fitting more airbags
I dont really think it matters much have been driving for almost 4 years triber ...previously was driving a maruti 800 for more than 20 years with God knows maybe 0 rating has been in accidents too but still alive and doing well...
That's true for people like you and me who owns it already, but this will have sure impact on future buyers who are considering safety first approach ...
Yes, that's why Ertiga is the most selling car with the brand reliability. Now after hearing about the ertiga's safety rating also owners of Triber should be proud of themselves. Because, driving skills, patience & driving sense it the utmost important.
Bilkul norms every year change aur strict hote rahte hain. Jaise ki harare home appliances BEE anergy rating norms bhi har saal strict hote jaate hain, isi wajah se bhi star rating bhi kam ho jati hai.
Exactly, and it is responsibility of these clear Manufacturers to keep their vehicle updates as per new norms... Renault clearly dropped the ball in overconfidence... let's hope they correct it asap...
Renault wale logo ki soch smjh nahi aa rhi ..5 saal aane ko aa gye abhi tak facelift nahi aaya ..sirf 2024 me kuch chhote mote upate aa bs... facelift jldi aana chahiye..kab tak ayega ..pta nii .

Nope.. the main reason is not conforming to the latest GNCAP norms plus the African variant Triber has less safety features than Indian one...

What about Eratiga's safety rating in recent times !
Ertiga and Triber both have gone for GNCAP retesting for Africa .. Ertiga got 1 star now , previously it has 3 stars...

Yes , can't agree more 🙌

Maybe the top model might have more safety because of more safety features like 4 airbags, rear passengers, seat belt remainder
May be it will get 1 more star but GNCAP is done on base models only.
@@MundaTopNotch Yes, sir, but the chassis has the same strength
