When you measure height using angle and 2 points, dou you need a tripod to do or you can do it by "hand' (does it have angle detector inside ? )
does it consume lot of battery while taking long distance measurement via camera or otherwise??
Seems the D510 has a common fault of grey flickering screen and no one has a repair solution. Given the cost of these it is unacceptable. Disto say just buy another unit. Rubbish!
And it's on the market from ten years now. It's a lot. May they have done some silent update?
