Thank you brother for the city of Ibadan road trip video. I am still shocked at the conditions of the roads, being a state capital. It is a bit clean of garbage, however, the amount of sand on the sides of the road is unacceptable. The state government should seriously invest in a sand vacuum truck (hint: China or have a local engineer convert a tipper into a vacuum truck). The sand vacuumed from the roads will be sufficient enough to sell, to house builders, using the revenue to pay for the vacuum truck cost. Nigeria should vacuum the sands from their streets. The sands are a safety hazard and a no sand dune roads and streets improve vehicle traffic flow.
Ibadan lost the pace setting claim decades ago. Comparatively to most Nigerian cities today (even the ones that became state capitals some few decades ago) it is the most underdeveloped in terms of infrastructure, traffic management control (traffic lights, lane markings etc) housing estates, and environmental sanitation.
Shabby and haphazard, These regional cities need to move into the 21st century in many aspects. the inhabitants need to demand more from their councillors and governors.
I would suggest you identify which parts of Ibadan you disseminate in your video please. Ibadan is quite a large city and will be ideal to know the specific parts in your video. Thanks.
This girl comparing Ibadan as bridge btw Abuja and Lagos is very right . I am from Ibadan lived my formative and hussle life in Lagos travelled abroad then moved to Abuja ... She is so right
I had my first degree and second degree in ibadan. If you live in ibadan you wont want to live elsewhere because ibadan is relatively cheap to compare to lagos.
Ibadan is a mixture ancient and modern beauty and less stressful with low cost of leaving and cool standard of leaving.
I totally agree!
I love Ibadan so much because I was born there, the first 8year of my life was at Abadina UI campus
Wonderful
Ich war im September in Ibadan . Ich werde im April wieder mit meiner Frau dort sein .
Mexican "Mariachi" music whilst taking us on a tour of Ibadan (Nigeria) - an unusual blend of sites and sound.
