The person who took care of the soundtrack of tlou has a really great taste, Agnes obel is awesome and I was shocked when I found out she was in that episode

I sat through the credits just to listen and then immediately searched for it. This music video made me like the song itself and the decision to play it for the end credits so much more.... I've listened to Agnes Obel for the whole covid lockdown in 2020. This music helped me relieve the pain of loneliness a lot. So glad they chose her music for The Last of Us.
I just know a lot of people from the season 4 of elite will come to see this song.. don’t hesitate to watch other songs from Agnes like the curse, familiar, riverside, etc. She’s my favorite artist and seeing her song in élite brought me so much joy
2:55 - 3:28 is by far the most amazing instrumental part I’ve ever heard in a song, it’s just so beautiful, there’s something so magical, and takes me to another realm whenever I listen to that part. Just marvelous.
Yep, it is very moving and so beautiful. I think it would've been perfect at the end for the fade out as well. Once is simply not enough. I love the whole song, but the break is breathtaking. Some people have the ability to produce genius and perfection. That is hers.
Give a listen to: On the nature of daylight by Max Richter. It's such a beautiful peace used on quite a few movies and shows. When the last violin joins it usually brings me to tears.
This song is definitely my favorite song of this year. It really puts you in that clear-minded morphine-chilled sort of state. It conjures up memories that aren't necessarily happier or sadder. More a time where I could feel more than I can now.

This is, simply, the best song in the whole world. Strings, piano and a magic voice... It's fucking wonderful, perfect to listen to at night, walking in the drizzle, in autumn, dragging the leaves...

Lyrics
Do you want me on your mind or do you want me to go on
I might be yours as sure as I can say
Be gone be faraway
Roses on parade, they follow you around
Upon your shore as sure as I can say
Be gone be faraway
Like fuel to fire
Into the town we go, into your hideaway
Where the towers grow, gone to be faraway
Sing quietly along
Pious words to cry into the under
Upon your shore as sure as I can say
Be gone be faraway
Oh what a day to choose
Torn by the hours
All that I say to you
Is like fuel to fire
Into the town we go, into your hideaway
Where the towers grow, gone to be faraway
Never do we know, never do they give away
Where the towers grow, only you will hear them say
Sing quietly along
Sing quietly along
thank you.

They follow you around
Upon your shore
Is as sure as I can say
But can't be far away
Oooooh
Oooooh
Like fuel to fire
To the town we'll go
And to your hideaway
Where the towers grow
Gone to be far away
Sit quietly
Alone.
Eyes want to cry
And do
They undo?
Upon your shore
Then as sure as I can say
But can't be far away
Oh, what a day
To choose
Torn by our world
All that is safe
To you
Is like fuel to the fire
To the town we'll go
And to your hideaway
Where the towers grow
Gone to be far away
Never do we know
Never do they give away
Where the towers grow
Only you will lead us there
Sit quietly
Alone
Sit quietly
