I'm 66, today. When this was a current hit, I played it in a local Montgomery, Alabama discotheque (disco). Still love it, and hundreds of others.
Disco was the best. I wish this generation could get a taste of this type of FUN. This is what fun is all about. You could NOT stay in your seat when this kind of music is playing. You can actually UNDERSTAND the words to these songs and listen to the music. Great times and memories.

I'm 63 years old and it still makes me move. Those were the good days of music. Not like the trash they have today. Don't get me wrong they come out with a good song once in awhile.

Too bad we can't. I'm not saying there can't be good parties and music festivals these days, but I'm a zoomer and what most of my folks usually prefer is mumble rap, hip hop, R&B, and I hate it. A lot of people today are also overweight and can't dance for too long which sucks.

I used to be in one of those high school type marching bands back in the day, and switched from playing the bass drum to playing the glockenspiel, every band practice I would break out into playing the "glock" parts of this wonderful track.. in the end, the band tutor screemed "Terry, if I hear you play Anita Wards Ring My Bell one more time the only thing you will be playing is the triangle".. haha, I didnt have the heart to tell him it was SOS Band :-o Wonderful memories and wonderful times. Where did those days go :-/

WOW memories. I was selling beer illegaly in Brighton Beach Brooklyn when this song was released and it was on the radio non stop. I guess it was 1980 cause i was 14. We got ticketed on the beach for selling the beer and in trouble because of the orange Tango we were drinking ( Orangeade/vodka) , but we didnt care. We had ate a quaalude earlier in the day and we had SOS blastin on the radio- it dosent get any better. LOL
